Love this color!
Love this color, it was the last one to complete my Primatek collection. I have ran into packaging issues but not with this tube, it can carefully package to prevent any damage, shipping was a bit slow but well worth the wait. Disclosure I don’t think the seller has anything to do with shipping issues, it was at the dock, loaded to be delivered, then back a facility etc etc

Love It
I love this color. I would describe it as silver violet with sparkly bits!

Really interesting color
The sugelite is very subtle but has an interesting shimmery effect. I used it for rocks/cliffs in the moonlight. Daniel Smith colors are phenomenal and live up to the hype - the colors make you think of ways to showcase them too. I don't have an entire DS pallette but they are the stars of the show. Moonglow and Cascade Green are favorites too.

Paint is glittery
I ordered my first PrimaTek series color - Sugilite Genuine. I do not see the subtle hue shifts described, and more importantly the paint has a garish glitter to it. Like glittery nail polish. It's unusable for blending in with other colors, unless you specifically want glittering areas in your painting.I went over the description again to see if I missed something and all it says is that the grey elements of the paint dry with a "graphite like sheen". This is much more than the sheen of graphite... For me it was a waste of money

Received a used tube
Arrived on time but the tube had been opened and previously used. I've purchased tubes of Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors at local art stores but wanted to purchase on amazon and let's just say I was very disappointed that I received a used product.
