Works great!
Fantastic product, works great. Easy to use, and got it cheaper than purchasing from Samsung. All I had to do was turn on the keyboard, go to my settings and let the Smart TV find it. No problem at all. Surfing YouTube or the web is so much easier with the built in mouse pad and keyboard to type my search items.

This keyboard is very nice. I have this keyboard paired with my Samsung ...
This keyboard is very nice. I have this keyboard paired with my Samsung UN55JU7500. There are a couple of issues that you should be aware of. Not sure if this applies to TVs of earlier years. There is no "Extra" button on the keyboard as is on the remote that comes with the TV, therefore if a you are watching a program and there is additional information or extras for that show a notification will display in the lower right hand corner of the screen. you will have to use your supplied remote to access it. Not that big a deal since it is usually info on the actors and tweets about the show, sometimes some more in depth information about the program. The second is that I find going through Amazon Prime Videos you cannot type to sign in, you still have to use the pointer, (CORRECTION: Please see below). Again not that big a deal since after you log on once it remembers you unless you reset the TV.The third is the use with the onboard TV PANDORA app. The media controls on the keyboard Fn button + F6-F12 do not control the Pandora application. You will have to select the onscreen remote and select the media controls to Pause, Play & Next Track. A minor inconvenience.I have not tried them with the Netflix application yet so I cannot comment if they work there .I like that it is small enough to hold with one hand and type with the other. The volume/channel buttons along with the Smart Hub and Return buttons do require a slight bit of pressure to engage them but nothing too severe. The mouse pad section works nicely. Overall this is a very good keyboard and a nice addition to my home theater system.UPDATE: 4/29/15 - Media Controls (as stated above) and Keyboard Typing for the Samsung TV (stated above). These are the only apps that I utilize.NETFLIX - YES Media Control / YES Keyboard Typing for movie/program searchYOUTUBE - NO Media Control & NO Keyboard TypingAMAZON INSTANT VIDEO - NO Media Control & NO Keyboard TypingPANDORA - NO Media Control / YES- There is Keyboard Typing for Station Creation

Improved My Smart TV Experience
Using the remote that came with the smart television was a nuisance especially when keying in a website name on the onscreen keyboard, I was happy to learn that this keyboard existed because I was considering returning the television. This keyboard made the difference. It is just as easy as using your computer keyboard.

A SAMSUNG FAILURE
Where do I begin...I wanted a more versatile remote control than the stock one provided with my Samsung Curved UHD TV. This remote/keyboard has poor integration with the Samsung TV and with the apps that are provided for download. For example:When using apps such as Amazon or Netflix with the keyboard and you want to search for a movie. The onscreen keyboard will pop up and you need to use the mouse cursor to click keys. It would be much more logical if the TV and it's apps were keyboard aware and would change how you interact with them.Another issue:The keyboard will not replace the stock remote control. It can't control your cable box, dvd player, or any other non Samsung equipment. Once again the consumer get's the shaft and has 20 remote controls instead of a company knowing that we are sick of this. There is no reason a $99 keyboard with an IR emitter should't be unable to control devices outside of the Samsung brand yet the tiny 60 dollar remote has this ability? Now I am stuck with an overpriced Bluetooth keyboard (another remote) that can't control anything but my TV.SAMSUNG YOU FAIL on this one.

Frustrating Disappointing.
A Resounding Disappointment. The main reason to get a wireless keyboard for a smart tv is to save yourself the time and frustration of using the remote's navigation arrows to select letters from an alpha-numeric grid one character at a time. These grids are used in many apps on your new smart tv.Here is a list of apps I use regularly: VUDU, Youtube, Netflix and Amazon Video. Of these the only one that is partially compatible with the Samsung wireless keyboard is Netflix. The others offer no compatibility at all.The keyboard duplicates other remote functions: tv on/off, navigation arrows, select, volume up/down, smart hub, menu, etc. The alphabet letters work as well; but the only searching you can do will be in the tv's e-manual or when renaming different input sources like your set top box or your computer, which is not very often.Speaking of input sources, the keyboard will obviously not enable you to control anything on a mirrored screen from your computer. However, it does work with the browser included with the tv's apps. The keyboard does not work with my FIOS box. I have to the dedicated FIOS remote for that. But the FIOS remote, although it controls volume and mute, will not control the tv menus. So 2 remote's are necessary. The smart tv I'm using is a Samsung SUHD 50 inch from the 7000 series. The keyboard manual mentions the limitations. Companies should work together on this and figure out a wireless keyboard standard. Until then I don't recommend this purchase. All in all it has been a frustrating experience. I will probably be returning the Samsung bluetooth keyboard. Searching is extremely tedious an limited in the apps that need this capability. Other television functions like navigating menus
