DecoBREEZE Oscillating Table Fan 3 Speed Air Circulator Fan, 10 In, Mila

I purchased this fan on October 26, 2013. Today, May 10, 2016, the fan died. I used it most days I was in the office for approximately 12 hours per day since I purchased the fan. I would normally think 2.5 years of life was a pretty decent run for a fan, but when you are paying this much for a table top fan, you'd really expect a little longer life out of it than I received. That said, it is relatively quiet -- gives a good white noise when running -- and moved sufficient amounts of air at 8 feet away even on the lowest setting. I rarely used the oscillating function on this fan, so do not have much to say there other than the function worked for me. The only "pain" I had with this fan is that on two separate occasions during the time I had it the fan blade came unscrewed from the piece that it is attached to. There is a screw that holds the fan blade onto that piece. It is not a huge pain to tighten the screw when that happens, I just thought it was an odd design and not something I should have ever had to mess with. Functionality aside, this is a very nice looking fan that appears well made. It is a nice touch to the office as it really does look good. I am a bit torn on whether to buy another one of these fans at this price, but might still do it simply because the fan does look great, generally worked fine for me, and 2.5 years isn't really a terrible run for a fan (would just be more palatable at a lower price to replace after 2.5 years).

I have to write a review for this product as the negative reviews were making me reconsider ordering it. I'm glad I did order it. I love it's presentation & it was routine to put together. It is easy to set the direction of the fan's breeze, & the force of air is pleasant. Right now I have it on 24/7 so will see how it wears in time.

A little expensive since I live in Canada, but love the style. It goes so well with my decor and much nicer than a plastic fan. The fan blades were a bit bent on arrival, but very easy to straighten them. Assembly was no problem. (I am a 65 year old widow.) My only disappointment was a large blue permanent sticker on top of the motor housing which says DecoBreeze. It really detracts from the overall antique look of the fan.

Finish of wood in picture is bright varnish but mine is a dull and dark almost like a brown satin stain instead of varnish .Loos okay from 10 feet away .Fan has a generic Chinese build quality to it . That said it does work well has a hefty feel and has a nice sound while operating . Overall not worth the money . If I ever buy another Deco Breeze product I will want to see it in person first , can't trust the picture .

Assembly directions were for another model. I thought I ordered a white-base fan but got a gold-base fan. The oscillator button worked for less than two minutes, then quit altogether. There was an exterior wire connection I wasn't expecting and couldn't connect myself. One end was oblong, the other circular. I needed costly help doing that. But it is pretty. Geez! What we tolerate to get the look we want!

Looked good, ran it 24hrs a day during warm weather but purchased in June of 17 and now it's April of 19, I turned it off this a.m. and won't turn back on. I saw the blade start to work but unplugged it as I don't want a fire. I ordered an already assembled small lasko fan, I can't afford a décor fan.

My only complaint is that there is only one screw that holds the "neck" of the top fan to the bottom neck base. It should have 2 for stability. As you have to be careful if you plan to move this fan often. Other than that , it is a beautiful and excellent working fan.

It is absolutely beautiful. It is elegant and chic. Perfect replica of old style fans. You can tell is great quality too because it is real heavy, sturdy and steady. It is not noisy, and refreshes a lot. 3 speeds and moves from left to right and back. Very happy with my purchase.
