I know few about compression socks until I purchase those. I decided to purchase these compression socks after my brother returned from a doctor appointment. He had been complaining that his feet and calves had been achy and a bit painful. The doctor said these type of socks could help him. He was a bit unsure at first and thought they would not look or work any good. I am pleased however that he has tried them. He is glad he did, as he said they are so comfortable to wear and do not fall down on him. He stated that his calves are not so painful.I have washed his first pair and they dried very well and maintained their shape. I can see ourselves getting some more when we need them.I ordered 4 pairs for myself ‘cause I spend almost 7 hours on my feet and I plan to fly to japan for a trip. I have to admit they are really amazing. I feel very comfortable with these socks at daytime. They make my calve relaxing. These do have good compression but keep in mind this is a sock, not hose. I think the compression is perfect for me, no too tight or too loose. The compression in these are mainly around the foot and ankle area as it is a sock designed more for someone being on their feet working.The socks are individually wrapped which made for easier storage. The socks themselves are made from tightly knit material and will feel quite warm. They are also very close fitting as expected from compression socks.I stay on my feet for nearly the entire day at work so I decided to try these to reduce some of the fatigue in my legs.They come right up to my knees and fit fairly close. At first I thought it would end up causing me elastic marks up and down my legs but the compression is distributed very well.

I plan to wear them to hike next week. I never realized the relief that I could get for my feet from a well-fitting pair of compression socks. They fit perfect, don't fall down. And they ate tall enough too. So if you need compression socks order these, you can't go wrong.

I was skeptical about these type of socks, to say the least. I researched them online and learned a lot, still thinking I didn't need them. I found Deilin compression socks with 100% 5-star feedback. And, they were the best price I'd found on the internet, especially considering their great feedback rating. Reluctantly (making changes from aging is generally hard for me!) I ordered a set of them. When they got here, I had to look up online to see how to put them on correctly (Memory is the second thing that goes with aging and I can't remember what the first was.).As soon as I had them put on, I stood up... and almost cried from joy! OMG. I didn't know what I didn't know, until I stood up! It felt like I'd had a foot replacement. No pain in my feet and ankles. I didn't realize I had so much pain on standing and walking because I'd become normalized to it. Wow! I've zipped around for four days now, amazed at how good my feet and ankles feel ALL DAY LONG and well into the night! When I take them off to change for bed, there is no swelling! I can see all the normal blood vessels in my feet after a long day of standing and walking around! No more marshmallow-puffy feet or ankles!These seem quite rugged, too, and haven't needed any adjustment once I got them on.I was concerned about the indentation these would leave on my calves, like my other socks. I asked and was told by Amazon buyers that these leave an indention, too, at the top of the sock. What they didn't say was that the indention was about a fourth of what my old, regular socks leave on my calves! It's much better.I've ordered a second set of four and am thinking about ordering a third set. Also, I get to toss out all those old crew socks and ankle socks that were adding to my foot problems.

They're helping, but oh! What a pain in the neck.I'm obese, and have some pretty significant edema, and that's why I bought them in the large size. But getting them on is a tremendous physical struggle, And then the feet of the socks are a bit too large (uncomfortable), while the upper part seems probably too tight.They ARE helping, but I can only make myself struggle into them every other day, so I wonder if a different sock would work better for me -- one not quite so tight around my calves and not quite so large on my feet.

I ended up giving these away to my MIL who is a nurse and she loves them. My legs are too big and the tops would not stay up. I even tried cutting a pair into socks. Do not try that, it does not work...

Just received these this afternoon, I must say for three price and quantity I was hesitant to purchase them. I have pretty bad nerve pain from diabetes in my feet and shins and after only a few hours I can already feel some improvement in circulation and steadiness of my nurve issues. If you are wanting to try out these type of socks before spending big money on really nice ones I suggest these.

I purchased to help with swelling due to osteoarthritis in both knees and much to my surprise it also provided a stabilization to my knees. And no the socks did not reach above my knees, in fact they stopped just at the bend of the leg/knee area. They provide great compression but not to an uncomfortableness. They are great in controlling swelling as well.
