Comparing both Special Armor kits, as well as the Condor kit
There is no part difference between the 72003 A4/V-2 camouflage and the 72014 A4/V-2 prototype. In fact the parts tree has 72003 molded on both. The 72003 instructions are in color, and provide all around views of the standardized "ragged" camouflage scheme, plus single views of batiked, wavy, early ragged and later overall standard. The decals have details for four of the five choices. The 72014 instructions are in b/w, and provide all around views of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and a later un-numbered prototype. The decals have details for all four choices. The Condor 001 A4/V-2 kit has far fewer parts, but compares favorably. This kit does lack the trailer for moving the firing stand, and only has the lower bell, instead of the full engine. It's nose though not actually sharp, is continuous in contour. The Special Hobby nose has the appearance of a nib.Your choice depends on the color scheme that you want, and if you want more options for diorama purposes.

Three Stars
The model was smaller that I thought for the price.

Great model. Be careful, small parts that can easily be broken

MPM have outdone themselves!
What can you say to such a great model?I waited a long time for this kit in such superb detail. It really has the presence of the sinister weapon it was. The addition of the meillerwagen from the same series really brings the V2 to life. The bonus of the firing table is great news as well.I understand this is the start of a whole collection of V2 related hardware. I doubt they'll be around forever though sadly so get them while you can!
