Best replacement lights for Rav 4
I've been buying the other big brand OEM lights for my RAV 4 but they burn out in about 2 months. These have been rock solid and lasted longer. I will only use Philips now.

Brighter than OEM halogen, not as bright as the newer LED lamps, but cheap.
Bought a set of these because in my state, I had to remove the LED headlamps (which are the gold standard for bright white light, by the way) for it to pass state inspection. Dumb rule, I didn't know until my other vehicle had to have the LED lamps removed that some regular halogens had to be put back in to pass vehicle state inspection. I bought these for my truck so I could put them in place of the LED headlamps temporarily. But I can say at least that they are brighter than the factory lamps, I had no problems like premature failure. So I'm happy with them, they serve their purpose.

9005 fits 2006 Honda Accord low beam socket
What the headline says. .... I read somewhere that the 9006 bulb is for the high beams. I can tell you from bitter experience that the 9006 does not fit my Accord's low beam socket --- the plug has a tab in the middle which prevents a connection to the low beam socket. (One reviewer filed it off to make it fit --- no need for that, just buy the correct bulb.)The 9005 has a channel instead of the 9006's tab and locks easily into the low-beam socket. Fits both passenger and drivers side headlights.

Lights work fine
Always had good luck with Phillips headlight bulbs vs OE Sylvania.Ford Escape owners info: Normally these would be fairly easy to install but not in a 2017 Ford Escape with the 2.0 engine. Right side has the radiator over flow tank in the way though it can be ALMOST pulled out of the way. The left side, Ford needed about 1-2 more inches of wire loom as you have to unhook the connector from the bulb then remove it from the lamp assembly. To reinstall, you then install the bulb in the light assebly then attach the connector. Of course, you can't see that connection so do it by feel. Be prepared to leave a bit of skin and blood too!

Can be tricky!!!
Had to remove the coolant overflow tank to have enough room to install passen ger side bulb. Toyota's fault not the bulbs. Can be tricky.
