Replacement Audio Cable Cord Wire with in line Microphone and Control for Beats by Dr Dre Headphones Solo Studio Pro Detox Mixr Executive Pill (White)

I've been using my Beats earbuds while working from home so that I can block out household noise all day but my ears have started to hurt from wearing earbuds 8+ hours a day. My mom offered me her Beats Solo but the cord was broken. I was hesitant to order a replacement cord since it's not Beats brand and I wasn't sure if it would actually work. I got overnight shipping and tried it out as soon as it was delivered. It works perfectly! Plugs in well to the headphones, very secure and no wobbling or risk of it falling out. Sound quality is great with no cutting out, even while I'm moving/the cord is moving. I don't have a comparison of sound quality with the original cord but it's just as good as my earbuds if not better. The sound control and pause/play works and there's no delay from when I press the buttons. The only downside is that the sound control is very high up on the cord so it feels like an awkward spot to reach for, but that might just be because I'm used to my earbuds. Overall, would highly recommend if you're needing a replacement cord!

It works well with Beats Studio 3 for listening to audio. As far as talking into it, the mic has to be aligned properly with the mouth. Once I accidentally had the mic flipped down, and people on the other side of the call complained that they couldn't hear me

what did i expect? it does the job if you need a replacement cord, microphone is terrible. picks up nothing. started falling apart immediately. tiny little sticker "b" logo over the L connector fell off, cord already starting to come loose.

I have some original Beats headphones that were hardly used so I began using them for biking. Well the volume button fell apart and started feeling sticky, almost like it melted! So I had to get a new cord and no way I was paying the big bucks. This was a perfect replacement work just as good and even matched the off color that my headphones are!

This aux cord barely works, it has issues connecting and the buttons don’t even work. Do not buy.

I guess you get what you pay for- these were affordable, and i was looking for something with an at least okay mic quality, and this had that, but sadly these lasted less than a year of daily use before breaking due to cord at the base of the straight plug closest to the headphones just wearing out. I used these mostly at my desk, so there shouldn't have been that much wear and tear on it, and i put some tape on that end to keep the cord together, but it didn't last longer than a month after that. I might pick these up again if i'm on a budget, but overall these are only okay for what i need them for.

Not sure this cable will last a week. Very poor quality. Lots of manufacturers seem to be selling the exact same model so I didn’t feel I had much choice despite the bad reviews. And I can confirm that these are terrible quality. They do work but touching the connectors results on the audio dropping out. Mic quality is terrible. Mine had glue visible on one end with one part stuck on wonky.

It was a direct replacement for the cable on the Beats Mixr headphones. They work great!
