Source Naturals L-Leucine capsules is an inexpensive solution for those of us trying to supplement our diets with significant doses of leucine. Recent research has proven that leucine by itself turns on mTOR pathways in large enough doses, and can act as a potentiator for muscle growth. Most of the supplement industry sells leucine itself as a powder, which tastes AWFUL, or in the form of a BCAA pill, which is combined with isoleucine and valine. That's great and all, but it means if I want to get a few grams of leucine post workout, I have to take like 25 BCAA pills or deal with a horrible tasting powder. Taking leucine by itself in a pill form means fewer pills and no horrible taste, which is exactly what I need. I have ordered about 7 bottles of this stuff over the past 6-9 months. I just wish Amazon would add it back to their Prime offering!

Great product

I was looking for an easy way to consume this bitter powder. The powder never mixes well in a shaker cup and tastes horrible. The capsules are a quick, easy, and palatable way to get it down. I just wish it came in a higher dosage. Other than that, it was a perfect fit.

I generally run out of energy around 1pm. Taking the L-Leucine helps with my mental alertness and energy without any jitters. This definitely helps me process my calories better.
