CopcoFreezeable Double Wall Insulated Tritan Water Bottle with Crackle Gel, 18-Ounce, Purple

after several days forced to go from metal water bottles to plastic/clear as per new work rules i decided to try this bottle out in the hope that it would keep my water cold longer. its clear enough to pass the “transparent” rules *shrugs*. first test showed that ice filled to the top and then water filled in around it lasted almost exactly 3 and 1/2 hours with the water itself staying tolerably cold for around 30 minutes to 1 hour afterwards depending on ambient temperature. the plain plastic bottles used before this kept ice for only 1 hour with the water only staying cold for around 2. this more than doubles the amount of time the water stays cold. i plan to get a sleeve for the bottle to further improve the amount of time the water is cold as well as to reduce the bottles condensation, which is probably the worst ive ever seen in a water bottle though it makes complete sense. expect your drink to be cold longer and the bottle to sweat like a whore in church.

We like this water bottle. It’s a great size, easy to carry and very durable. Haven’t had an issue with leaking, great value!

At first, my only complaint about this cup was that it was heavy. But it kept my kids drink cold through most of the day so we adopted. But today I noticed that the inside piece was discolored. This particular piece cannot be removed for cleaning. The mouthpiece is removable. I remove that and usually stick a straw cleaner down the middle for extra measure. But this particular piece can only be pulled back with Knife and is not easily accessible. When I saw the discoloration today, I took a knife to it, and was absolutely mortified by what I found.

like other reviews say, it doesn't stay cold very long. I do freeze it with about 3/4 full of water overnite and that helps it stay cold much longer, about 5 hrs'ish (in a minimally air conditioned environment). even though directions say not to freeze over 4 hrs...... A+ on looks, very attractive bottle nonetheless lol

The lid is cheap, when putting it on, it feels like I will break it...

Product lives up to being freezable. I purchased this for my granddaughter to bring to the pool and on very hot days her water stays cold all day. She likes how the design looks "crinkly" 😀

My Daughter is a hit when she breaks out her "ice" water bottle. Has been working well for hot summer camp days. I freeze it and add cold water just before sending her off to camp. She says the water stays nice and cold and everyone admires her bottle#dadoftheyear

OK I have thoughts about this bottle. I love my water ice-cold. I usually buy another brand of plastic water bottles that can be half-filled and frozen, but they often fail over time and crack. I was looking for a good alternative that would keep my water REALLY cold, but this isn't it. First off, it's noisy and embarrassing! There's a little white stopper/valve that can be removed, and that cuts down on the noise, but not much. Literally the whole room can hear you sucking on this thing. The other thing is that it doesn't keep water ice cold. I followed the directions and froze the empty bottle for 4 hours or less, then added ice and water. By the end of the day, 4 hours later, the ice is melted and the water's not particularly cold. I won't be buying a supply of these to replace my plastic bottles unfortunately. And putting it in the freezer for 3-4 hours then filling it I a bit of a chore. So overall, my review is meh.
