I am very happy with my Darco Medical-Surgical Square Toe Shoe.For people wondering about sizes, I am a womens size 8 1/2 and I purchased the medium size of this shoe, The shoe is about 1/4 inch too short for my foot and if i could have chosen a size again, I should have gotten a Large, for that extra room. I have ben using the medium without any problems to my feet, but FYI if you are purchasing this item and you are an 8 1/2 womens size go bigger. my foot measures 9 1/2 inches from heel to tip of big toe. That being said,This "shoe" has made it possible for me to walk outside. I did not have anything that would fit on my foot because of bandages and a wound located on the very top of my foot. I am presently being treated by a wound center and have been for 7 months now. The wound is located in a bad spot and there is no way I can wear a "regular" shoe. This product has been the only way I can walk with protection on my foot. I want to inform possible customers that the nurse at the wound center was impressed with the shoes' versatility using the movable velcro straps, she said that "this is better than anything we have here." This shoe has made it possible for me to walk outside of my house. It has been a life saver for me.

The first shoe fit so good that I had ordered a second one. The only complain with this recent order is the shoe seems to fit just a bit different. I did note that the Darco label on this shoe and last one I purchased are completely different. If you see the pictures on both my review you will see the discrepancy. But overall I'm happy.

My mother shattered her right heel bone in July 2019. Her orthopaedic surgeon suggested her to buy this medical shoe to support her heel so that it doesn't give her discomfort or pain when she walks. The surgeon gave her several websites to buy this but it was so expensive. I then went on here and found this. She said she couldn't ask for more because it's just RIGHT. It's comfortable, fit to size, and affordable. The material is very nice and too. I would recommend this product.Her shoes size is 6.5M/7M, and she bought size M. It fits her perfectly.

I bought this to help with a broken pinky toe. It appears to have a rounded bottom but that is in accurate. It is flat. Not much protection for my toe

I have been wearing it every day since foot and ankle surgery on June 29. I am not sure when I will be able to wear regular shoes again. It may be another six to eight weeks.

Was recommended to me by my wound care doctor and it added further damage to the wound because this is not a fitted shoe. When the doctor asked me what I have done with the shoe, I told him I threw it in the trashcan where it belonged.

I have a fractured foot and needed something to wear on a trip I had booked for Europe. It worked well enough, not too heavy.

The Company representative that I consulted with was polite and informative when I called. This shoe gives excellent protection and support following surgery and aided in the healing process.
