The Republic of Tea - Dragon Oolong Tea Tin, 36 Tea Bags, Naturally Caffeinated

Really tasty

This is a good, strong tea. I have a 24 ounce tea tumbler, the kind you’re supposed to put 3 cups worth of loose leaf tea in the basket for, and I can use just one bag and get a rich tea. I love that about it.It can handle milk. I always worry about that because some tea can’t without it curdling and I really like milk in my tea.It has a nice aroma. I wouldn’t say strong, but pleasant.Overall the only thing I don’t like is it’s also my roommate’s favorite tea so we run out often. It’s a great tea.

It is black tea. It tastes like black tea, smells okay. Not my cup of tea.

Rich, full bodied oolong. Tastes like oxidized green tea, but less acidic and not as dry. Nice mellow flavor, that pairs well with a variety of foods. Minimal bitterness, which is to my tastes

I chose this brand for the balance of price and quantity, yet also for apparent quality. I’m looking for a clean source of tea most helpful for my heart; from an original source and free of chemicals.This tea tastes great! It feels healthy going down, has a smooth finish and leaves me wanton of another cup.I recommend this oolong tea!

The Republic of Tea stopped manufacturing their tea labeled "Milk Oolong - A cup of abundance". Instead available in the Milk Oolong category is this Dragon Oolong and the Peach Oolong. I have tried both. Neither are as good as the original Milk Oolong.The Dragon Oolong has a very tiny hint of bitterness to it that the Milk Oolong didn't have. However, I have made it better by combining the tea brew with 1 bag of the Dragon Oolong and 1 bag of Traditional Medicinals Organic Throat Coat. Together, this tea becomes a mildly caffeinated cup that's better than the Dragon Oolong bag along.The Peach Oolong is better than this Dragon Oolong, but again, still not as good as the original (now discontinued) Milk Oolong from The Republic of Tea.
