Works as it should seems to be of good quality, works well and well made. Makes moving bed ridden person around on bed easier on patient and caretakers.

These are very large and sturdy positioning mats. Multiple handles down both sides give you options for lifting and repositioning. There are reinforced cross straps on the backside of the mat to distribute weight and prevent patient from sagging. The handles are very thick and make lifting easy. I had to wash them daily (that's another story). I used the delicate cycle with warm water and they came out perfect.

I wanted to bring my 260 pound husband home for hospice. He didn't want to stay in the hospital. This product enabled me to honor his wishes. I could not have cared for him at home without it. I could use it to turn him, and to position him properly in the bed. I am so grateful that I found this. I ordered this one plus a different brand. They were both good, but this one was slightly better. It was a little bit longer, and seemed to be able to handle a little more weight. Here's how I used it: I put the fitted sheet on the hospital bed mattress first. Then I put this sheet on next. I layered it with chux, which thanks to this product I was able to change as needed.

I bought two of these. One to transport my disabled child (85lbs) from bed to bath chair and a second one to transfer her back once back on the bed because the first one is damp from the shower. Takes two people to move the child with these slings and it makes the process much easier. It's well built, nylon is strong and stitching is good. We've been using it since August 2019 and so far, they're like new. Highly recommended.

Urine in large quantity can soak right through it, just like a waterproof bed cover, like the ones for dust mites. It wicks water and Coca Cola, but my daughter pee'd right through it when she was little, so I suspect urine may be thinner than water, maybe? I threw it in the washing machine on cold with baking soda and oxy clean the second time I washed it, and it came out almost perfect, but I have an overly, sensitive nose!

LOVE this item! Easy to use…very easy to turn patient. Not enough hospitals or care homes use this item?! Washable. Sturdy. Durable. Affordable. Multiple uses. Product can last a LONG LONG time. Tuck/lay item under fitted sheet for total mattress protection. Good as a picnic mat…cos it’s washable!!!

I read other review on this item prior to purchasing re washing etc. This has been a great help as and alleviates a lot of strain and pain encountered that are experienced with caretakers. It really helps when moving or transporting a loved one. It glides easily over surfaces when moving or positioning. Regarding washing, I've washed them (yes, I ordered two) on normal cycle (not delicate), warm water and I've dried them in the dryer, on warm heat setting and no shrinkage or deterioration of the product...on neither of them and, I've washed them numerous times. Yes, I would highly recommend this product.

This is a game changer when it comes to moving the patient especially when it is a one person operation.

This has been a livesaver for shifting auntie around her bed when one of us is working with her alone. We keep it under her sheets, so yes the sheets move with her, but it would be too hot to have the plastic against her skin, and we need it always available.
