TiptonMaintenance Mat with Neoprene Construction for Pistol Cleaning

Purchased this mat to use for cleaning my S.A. EMP 4 Champion 9mm. The bottom has a rubbery feel so it does not slip off the table. The main reason why I purchased this over others is that this Tipton is 12x24 in size, which is bigger than most of the others. Gives me plenty of space for lay down all my cleaning tools. Very easy to roll up.I've spilled Hoppes solvent and Moly bore cream, but was able to easily rinse it all off. (but it did leave a stain from the Moly cream)For under $10.00, and the right size, it's a good mat to have. Glad I purchased it,

The mat is plently large enough for handgun maintenance and should last a few years. It has a fabric top and a rubber bottom so it sticks to the bench well but tends to stain easily, if that bothers you. Delivery was swift, as usual.

Decent quality, but not for banging on. It will mark through fabric. A good mat for cleaning on and other light use. Still the best one out there if you just use it and chuck it when it gets really soiled. The thick cloth ones will drive you crazy because you want to wash them and keep them forever but you will not make fans by throwing a really oily cleaning mat into the family washing machine. Better to use this one up and start with a fresh one.

Does it is supposed to do and keeps oil and grease off the table. Soaks up small spills with no problems. Does begin to look a bit gungy after a couple uses due to the light grey color but that is to be expected. Big enough for cleaning hand guns.

Was hoping the color would be the near white, as shown, but it's a bit darker than what's seen; more like a battleship gray. However; that doesn't distract this from being an excellent non-slip surface on which to clean your favorite firearm. I wanted a color something other than the traditional dark green or black so that small, dark pieces of the mechanics weren't "lost" on the mat, and this suits the bill perfectly. The size is more than large enough for a single handgun stripped to the frame and would be large enough for two.

So far, so good. I bought two of them to use simultaneously when cleaning my rifle. I've dripped some rifle cleaning fluid on them a few times and there's no signs of breakdown on the mat (and you all know how corrosive the cleaning fluid can be). The mats grip the table so they don't slide. My only wish is that they make a larger sized mat.

Great little mat for cleaning pistols/taking bolts apart, however oil kinda stains the grey coloured mat but the mat works great, doesn't leak through, and is a very good price, would recommend if your looking for something cheap and functional

Great quality mat which will not harm the finish on your firearms. Backing keeps the mat in place on most surfaces. Definitely recommend this for firearms maintenance.
