It works great. I have a female elderly friend who is using it. She has to transfer from a wheelchair to it and need to lean heavily on the commode to do so. It has held up wonderfully. The only downside is it does empty from the back which means she cannot do it herself and had to wait until an aid comes to empty it for her. I would recommend if they ever redesign it the pot empties from the front.

My elderly mom really likes all of the room in this chair. It is easy to clean.

Very heavy duty, bought for my grandfather who is a bigger man. He needed a Pottie with a larger seat and hole. Because it's so heavy duty, it is harder to clean. The Pottie empties from the back so you have to pull the whole Pottie out if it's sitting against a wall. I wouldn't recommend this for a smaller person because it's so big. The plastic seat is hard and cold. the bucket doesn't slid very well on the plastic tracks. But it's still a good fit for a larger person.

Been using this chair for about a month now. Very satisfied with it. This is a nice wide chair,very comfortable. Is very sturdy,only thing I would change is it empties from the back and not the front. I highly recommend this chair for larger people.

Well built, stable, minimal assembly with no tools needed (slide leg extensions to desired height, click in place, and you're done), easy to clean.

My 82 yr old Mom needed a very sturdy potty chair, this one works really well! The only thing we added was pool noodles to the arms to make them softer on her hands.

Recently purchased this chair after reviewing the various commodes available. Chose this chair because it had the widest commode "hole" so to speak which was needed.Pros:Easy to cleanEasy to assembleSturdyLarge enough to accommodate a heavy personLargest commode opening I could findCons:The backrest was a drawing point but discovered the backrest is positioned too far back to be of use and cannot be adjusted.Pot must be removed from the rear of the chair and slides into place rather than dropped in.There is no cover for the commode while not in use.The cover is used exclusively to cover contents while in route for disposal. One hardly needs a cover for that purpose.The lack of a cover forces one to empty the pot every time since it cannot be covered.The commode cannot be used as a chair for dressing, etc. because the "hole" has no cover while not in use.I liked my previous commode much better since it had a lid, unfortunately it could no longer be used due to a medical condition requiring a larger commode.While I like the larger size, the drawbacks of this commode are numerous but what can one do when one needs a larger commode? No much. This particular commode is the only option I found which was larger with a larger commode opening in which one can make "deposits"..
