Red HeartSuper Saver Yarn, Camouflage Print

I first got my hands on this certain color of yarn at Walmart in Michigan and when I moved down to South Carolina I couldn’t find it at the Walmart that was here so I looked at Amazon and it was there. It’s still just as good as the stuff I bought at the Walmart in Michigan and it hasn’t failed me yet. I saw the color and knew I just had to crochet a blanket with it. I just love this color of yarn-girlfriend using boyfriend Amazon account

Im not super good at crocheting but my dad wanted an American flag scarf and this is how it turned out. I think it looks great and if I made the scarf a little less wide I would have gotten a better pattern but you live and you learn! I know for next time because I’ll definitely be ordering again. Shipping did take forever and came from over seas but I’m not that impatient so it didn’t bother me.

I started an afghan last year, started other projects and forgot about it. I just re-started the project only to find out I ran out of this yarn-I am using 3 colors. I went to Michaels and JoAnn's but could not find the color. I tried to use another variegated green but it did not blend well with the other colors. I decided to try AMAZON and I was pleasantly surprised to find the yarn, however I was not sure if it was the correct color-after enlarging the image it seemed to have the colors I needed; even though the price was higher than what it sells elsewhere I went ahead and ordered 2 skeins. I was SO happy when I opened the box and saw that it matched perfectly. It was well worth paying extra because now I can finish my afghan. Thank you Amazon, I always say if you cant find it on Amazon it doesn't exist anywhere else. :)

This is your typical Red Heart yarn so it is a full synthetic but I was looking for something a little out of the ordinary when it came to the "stars and stripes" and this has a pretty cute, self-striping aspect! I enjoyed creating my project using this yarn and the blue section even has "stars" flecked in so you get all of the aspects of the American flag without having to use multiple strands of yarn!

I am very disappointed in this purchase. Because I am quarantined I have to rely on online purchasing for my yarn. You can see from the picture that super saver yarn purchased not too long ago has more yarn than the super saver verigated yarn I just purchased. More money for less. Buyer beware.

Red Heart yarn's quality has significantly plummeted and quite frankly is no longer a quality product any longer. It is scratchy, has many tie offs within a skein and the plys fray. It used to be affordable yarn that was high quality! Now it more expensive and low quality. SMH

One thing that is nice is this yarn pools. However, the repeat is really long, which makes this yarn hard to work with, especially for planned pooling beginners. I am also not so crazy about how this looks, pooled. I stopped partway through because I just don’t think the pattern looks nice and given that was not worth the effort with such a long repeat. I did enjoy the challenge of pooling such a long repeat, but if you are looking for an easy pooling yarn, this is not one.

Yarn was very much cheapened from previous use of Red Heart Yarn. The 4 ply yarn easily unraveled with careful use and one skein I will simply throw out as I would be ashamed to present a war vet with a patriotic hat made from it.The shade of blue is almost black and hard to work with and does not reflect flag colors in hats I am knitting for war vets.Very disappointed and will not reorder.

Impulse purchase! I don’t know why amazon can’t have yarn at a reasonable price. When you can order somewhere else for cheaper. But it’s yarn. It’s super saver. And crafter who uses the brand knows the value for what it’s worth

More green and a bit burnt orange than shown, no black just dark brown.
