Definitely Controls The Crowd
The stanchions are stable and the base has a good weight. When I purchased these, I thought the upright poles were metal but they are made of plastic. The base plate is a metal piece. It did arrive with some imperfections like scratches and few minor dings on the metal plates. Other than that, they are great and does what it does... controls the crowd.

NOT HEAVY ENOUGH!
These stanchions are so light that when you do use the retractable belt it makes them lean over. These are not heavy duty so don’t buy them if that’s what you’re looking for.

Can't beet the price.
You can't beet the price. But there were no 3/8" X 2" bolts to secure the base to poll, also these are chrome plated not stainless.I attached a photo showing the tape stretched between two stanchions and they are not leaning.Well worth the price
