STILL THE BEST
ITS HARD TO BELEAVE BUT TRUE THAT HOLLEY STILL MAKES THE EXACT SAME CARBERATOR TODAY AS THEY DID ALMOST 40 YEARS AGO , I RECIEVED IT ON FRIDAY, INSTALED IT ON SATURDAY PUMPED THE GAS HIT THE KEY AND MY 45 YEAR CHEVY CAME TO LIFE . I ADJUSTED THE IDLE THEN TOOK OFF ON A RIDE CAME HOME PUT THE VACUME GAUGE ON AND DID A VERY SLIGHT AIR FUEL ADJUST , RESET THE IDLE AND DONE . JUST THAT SIMPLE, GREAT POWER THROUGH THE GEARS NO COUGH OR HESITATION DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE EDELBROCK PARTS FOR MY SBC, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO FUEL MANAGMENT I WILL TAKE HOLLEY FIRST

Signs of being used/installed previously
The carb had signs of being used. All of the parts were loose in the box. Kind of beat up. No vacuum port for the power brake line. Got it working anyway.

Take your time and follow the directions.
I put this carb on my 1973 Plymouth Baracuda 340 ci. The performance is amazing. This product is reasonably priced and an easy installation. Just a couple of minor adjustments and my car was purring like a kitten!

454 Motorhome.
Today is Christmas Day. 2014. Ordered the carb today we will be letting everyone know how it does. We will be installing it on a 1983 Allegro. It has a high performance 435hp 454 V8 We will let ya know how it goes. TNT.

Holley isn't what it used to be.
The quality of Holley carburetors has gone down significantly in the past 10 years. You used to able a carb right out of the box with no issues, other than minor adjustments. Now you get a new carb that needs to be pulled apart to adjust linkages and clean metal filings out of the passages and float bowls. Not happy.
