3-in-1 Talking Super Cube Clock for The Visually Impaired

I bought this for my aunt who has macular degeneration. She loves it. The voice is understandable provided you set the volume control switch to high. It also has an alarm feature that I have not tired using. Just a few complaints.1) Short battery life -- It takes two AA batteries which last about a week.2) Setting date/time not intuitive -- One the bottom there is a small screen and several buttons. You can eventually figure out how to set date and time without referring to the instruction sheet with its tiny print.3) Settings not preserved -- When you have to replace the batteries, the date/time settings are not preserved.4) Buttons too small -- My Aunt complained that the buttons are too small and not very visible.

My mother in law found this very useful because of her poor eye sight. She was over ninety years old.

This is an extremely unreliable product. When it works, it seems to be decent. But my mother has been through three of these, and they are very poorly crafted. The last one she had required constant resetting, and then broke completely. None of the three she has used lasted more than a couple of months. I would not recommend anyone buy this product.

The product works well but is all but impossible to set. The instructions are all but non-existent and poorly written. Even after you figure it out, there is nothing intuitive about setting time/date. Buttons for setting are black on a black background. It would be extremely difficult for anyone with low vision to set the clock for themselves.

I bought this for my 97 year old father who is hard of hearing AND visually impaired. IT WORKS PERFECTLY!! At first he had a hard time telling which button to push because they are black and the cube is black, but I took care of that by using a white paint pen to make those buttons stand out. I set the clock and had no problems with the batteries staying put like some of the other reviewers stated. Also, the voice is loud and clear. My dad can understand what is being said and it makes him feel better not having to ask what time it is or what the date is . He can find out for himself when he wants to know. I tried the tel-e-time pyramid thingee, but it didn't work. The voice was garbled. I'm ordering another one of these today for Father's Day so that he doesn't have to carry it back and forth between the bedroom and den every day.

My grandfather is blind and his old talking clock broke. This one that I found was the same shape and size of his old clock so there wasn't much new for him to learn. I also liked the voice can be either super loud or normal. As far as the date and the time go, there are only 2 buttons to press so there isn't anything confusing about it.The main issue I have is that it looks cheaply made and it loses time. I placed brand new batteries in it and 2 months later is had lost over 30 minutes of time. My grandfather didn't have a clue how to change the time, because the settings are on the bottom of the clock and difficult to see and figure out.

Voice weak hard to understand. No volume adjust

This product provides good fuction for the price. The voice quality may be difficult for some since you can only alter volume (s 2 settings) but not tone. The reset would not work for the alarm settings. Return to complicated and expensive to deal with.
