Puritan's Pride MSM Cream-4 oz Cream

I have ulcerative colitis and get psoriasis ulcers on my hands, especially when stressed. The ulcers are painful, dry and can bleed. This cream had done WONDERS for my hands! I use it daily in the evenings and my hands have been less painful and have healed faster than ever. I have never found a product that has worked so well. After years of doctors visits and using multiple special prescription creams, I finally found something that works!

I was skeptical... but I was given a jar of this from a friend, so I tried it one evening, and honestly, there was a pretty dramatic effect in my skin the next day. The tone of my skin seemed healthier... more even and lively. If you read the ingredients you will see its all wonderful oils, and such. So I dont know if its simply the great other ingredients, or the MSM in it, that is making my skin look great, but I dont want to be without this cream and have already bought a new jar. My skin is responding REALLY well to it. Clear, soft, perfectly... I mean PERFECTLY moisturized. Not too greasy, very moisturizing... Ive come to just LOVE the experience of using it. The scent put me off at first... Very herbal, sage-y and sort tea tree oil scent. But maybe because its having such a wonderful effect on my skin, I now have come to feel comforted by the scent.

I bought this for two reasons.1) for my rosacea on my face2) for my hands that get really dry and cracked due to work.Set my face ON FIRE. Dear God, immediately. Bad flare up and burning. I’ll stick with my other stuff for my face.Worked good on my hands, moisturized and healed them pretty quickly.

I have only recently become aware of anything at all concerning MSM, and don't have a long history of experience with it, but I bought a book about it, and what little I have learned, to this moment, has been truly amazing.I have been seriously bothered by lower back pain for a long time, and have tried many different things to alleviate it - mostly things such as Yoga, and Qi Gong, and back stretches - all physical things, to try to fix whatever was causing my problem.Reading about MSM was a real eye-opener, because I knew absolutely nothing about it before.Written by doctors, they have reported some astonishing cures which they attribute to MSM.What I learned is that MSM is basically sulfur, which they refer to as a "trace" mineral, but which is one of the essential minerals in our diet.However, for whatever reason, sulfur has been virtually overlooked in most discussions about vitamins and minerals. It's not even included in multi-vitamin/mineral pills.And so I bought some MSM pills, and some MSM powder, but couldn't really tell if either of them were making any difference, at all, that I could actually feel.But I also got this MSM cream, and tried it on my lower back, and there is no question but that it has made a difference.Just the very first time, I noticed a major improvement, and that was very encouraging, indeed.Also, I happened to touch my arm on the hot oven door as I was removing a pan from the oven, and just in that brief contact, it scorched one of the most tender parts of your anatomy, the underside of your forearm, and it all happened in an instant.Of course, this had happened to me before, and it is extremely painful, and in a location that frequently makes contact with various surfaces, which you normally don't even realize. But when it has been burned, and on that spot that so often touches other surfaces, you don't notice it until it's injured, but then you definitely do notice.But I lathered it with MSM cream, and that totally stopped the pain, and the next morning it seemed to have healed by half, from the night before. Plus, I never had any more pain on that spot - just a little tenderness - until it had healed completely.That told me that there is absolutely something to what they write about in the articles about MSM; that it has healing properties, which are pretty much denied us because of the lack of MSM in our diet, attributed to the elimination of many of the natural minerals that we don't get, because of "modern" food processing methods.And so I have tried it on my back about two or three times now, and each time, there was no doubt that it was making a difference.It's too early to tell if this is actually doing what I hope it's doing - which is to eliminate a very serious problem which has plagued me for many years, but it certainly seems to be pointing in that direction.The encouraging part is that the MSM is not just an effort to eliminate pain - although it certainly did, completely, when I burned my arm - but also to cure whatever is causing the problem in my lower back in the first place.Whatever eventually happens, suffice it to say that so far, it has worked, and I'm thrilled - obviously - that it is happening, and I hope it continues.

Loved it! The MSM cream helped get rid of my rash on my hand and in between my fingers. It soothed it and stopped the itching. I will definitely buy again! I have already recommended it to someone with eczema.

Have been using the MRM brand of the cream for some time with good results. Thought I'd try this brand. There is no image of the ingredient list but I assumed it contained as much MSM per ounce as the MRM brand. The MRM brand label states 4g of MSM per ounce of cream. The Puritan Pride brand mentions nothing about how much MSM it contains per ounce. Now I see why they don't show the ingredients label. It's like buying a standardized extract supplement that doesn't mention how much active ingredient it contains. No thanks. I'll stick with the MRM brand.
