Barnana Organic Chewy Banana Bites, Peanut Butter Cup, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

So glad to come and check the reviews and see that I'm not crazy or alone. I ordered a three pack of these during the black Friday weekend. Have had the regular banana bites before and love them...so was really excited to get these. That excitement ended quick when I received them and hurried to open one so I could eat a few. They are clearly old. I thought it could be possible initially that they'd been melty, then kept too cold and then brought back to room temperature, but after now receiving my replacement three packs, I'm sure it's an "old" issue. The smell also indicates that as well. I've put chocolate in the fridge after it started to melt and it has gotten a "film" on it, however, it never smells rancid. I've had others smell it too, and they agree it's old. Personally, I think they're getting to get rid of a "bad" batch...as too many of us are indicating the same issue. Ridiculous! They should be ashamed of themselves to do that. My opinion, they should not only replace the current bags with FRESH ones, but also give a credit for a future order...as it's terrible to try to pawn off old product on your customers.

My 2 year old loves these I buy them local when I can find them in stock I just bought 3 bags we couldn't wait to get them we hurried up and opened them and the chocolate is white and old looking I have had them before so I already know they are not suppose to look like these. So disappointing. They don't even taste like they normally do. They are usually a shinny black and looks like dark chocolate. I won't give these to my baby.

I almost never write reviews but was super bummed when I received these because they are old and the chocolate is mottled - a good sign of age. The taste is just okay. When I bought sample/smaller package at Sprouts they were amazing and fresh. I feel like this was a big rip off and am very disappointed in the quality of the product.

I ordered the 3 pack of these and only opened one. As u can see they’re “no good”. They are all stuck together (even in the unopened bags, I can feel the solid lumps), not to mention what they look like!! Supposed to be “dark chocolate!! They look as if they were melted and re..... refrigerated or frozen, but whatever happened to these, they’re not edible. I did separate a couple and forced myself to TRY ONE and they’re just flat out nasty. I want a refund!!

I cannot believe I paid almost $5 for 14 small pieces of a pb coated banana. (The pieces are the size of a quarter and smaller.)The taste is great, but goodness gracious I think I got robbed!

These are the most god awful artificial tasting things ever. I absolutely love peanut butter and banana but we all know they aren’t exactly easy to eat on the go so when I found these I thought this was the answer to all my problems oh boy was I wrong. The peanut butter “flavored” coating is waxy tasting and leaves a awful aftertaste in your mouth and the so called banana (if that’s what you can even call it) is definitely less than desirable. It is dark in color and doesn’t have a true banana taste but again a artificial taste to it even though these claim to be organic they sure taste like a whole lot of artificial. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone and mine have found their way to the garbage after I have given them many attempts thinking they would grow on me...nope! I will just do without my favorite snack on the go.

Just opening the box all you smell right off the start is banana! Even with the bag still sealed. The taste is pretty good. The way they look is a different story. My husband never saw the products bag, so he didn't know what they were, he just opened it. He asked me if it was a snack for "us" or for our dogs. The do look like dog treats. The soft beef jerky kind. Glad he asked me before just giving it ones of our dogs. For human, it's a great alternative to "unhealthy" snacks & I'm sure if you poured some in a glass dish after about 10 min your room would smell like a banana air freshener was in there!

I don't know what I was expecting when I bought these, but they were definitely a surprise. They quite literally are dried bananas. I thought they'd be similar to banana chips, but they aren't, and they aren't trying to be. Instead, they're more like any other dried fruit. The reason I got the original flavor is because the other flavors are about twice as costly, although I would really like to try the chocolate and peanut butter flavors. The originals are great as they are (have a sort of a banana bread taste to them), but after eating four of five bags they get a bit boring. I'll have to put the box in storage for a while and come back to them in a month and I'm sure the cycle will repeat itself until I eat them all. But what can I say? This cycle happens with all the foods I eat.I opted for the 12 pack of 3.4 oz bags only because it's a better deal, price per ounce wise. It probably wasn't a good idea seeing as how I had no idea if I was going to like them, but I ended up liking them. I'm the only one out of my friend group who does though because the texture gets to them. I love chewy things though, and these are really tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors in the future.
