At 7 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 2 1/2" OD when closed and 6 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 2" ID when opened up there is more than enough room for my LG portable DVD drive and cables with room to spare. The two halves are about 1" deep with a strap on one side to hold your device and a pouch on the other for cables, The zipper makes a solid sound and the hinge seems sturdy and is made out of the same material the covers the outside of the shell, no cheap plastic one here. This is a hard shell case and does fit into my laptop bag but it's kinda bulky for that and should protect your device from bumps and scrapes. All in all I like this case and would recommend it.

I have a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ DI Analog Preamp Pedal. I was having to keep it separately from some of my other gear as I was worried it would knock the knobs off and potentially lose one. This is not a cheap piece of gear, but it was inconvenient. I finally found this case and it works perfectly. I can put it in the bag with my PA cables and mics and it is a great fix. It is taller than the usual drive it is for, but the net and strap keep it firmly in place and protected. Caseling might want to consider adding this device to their list of devices covered.

I'm surprised I bought something that didn't have any reviews but in this case (pun intended) I did roll the dice and it paid off. This is a nice case for the money. It has a lined interior that really isn't padded but when your drive is strapped in with the provided holding strap it would be protected from falls as long as you don't spike it like a football (even if sometimes it would feel so good to do so!). The top half of the case has a storage area for cables and a couple discs. The zipper feels solid and not cheap, haven't had any hangups, the pull tabs are metal and could use a coating of rubber on them to prevent them from scratching other items but I wouldn't let that stop me from buying it, if I was so inclined I'd dip them a few times in Plasti-dip or a similar product but personally it doesn't bother me. I bought it for the Samsung SE-208DB/TSBS 8X Slim DVD+/-RW Slim USB External Drive that I perchased a week earlier, the case costing more than half as much as the drive but this case is built well enough that it should house many future inexpensive optical drives.

My first Bluray disc player died after a fall so I bought this one to protect the second one. Has a pouch on one side for cables,etc, and the other side has an elastic strap to hold the player. No shock protection so I put a piece of Grey foam ( like the kind used in sound insulation and my Bose speaker case) and it works fine. Other than the easily fixable problem of shock protection this is a great case, especially if you have some Grey foam laying around. They sell it for window air conditioners.

I bought this to hold my external CD/DVD drive and it works perfectly. My drive fits easily inside with a zipper that's as sturdy as the case. I definitely recommend this case.

Nice case for my portable CD player. Hard so it doesn't get smooshed. I recommend.

Case does not allow for cords to be included. With cords you cannot close the case. Need another case for those. Disappointed

Tiene buen tamaño, el material da buena rigidez y seguridad a dispositivo. Lo único malo es que el cable queda un poco doblado, pero creo que es por el mal diseño del dispositivo y no de la funda.

Après avoir cherché sur le Net, j'ai trouvé enfin ce que je cherchai depuis un moment et correspond à mon lecteur CD/DVD. (et il y a de la place pour 1 CD et le cordon).

No se pude pedir más y cumple sobradamente su cometido, incluido el lazo para transporte. . El precio también muy competitivo. Muy recomendable.

Sturdy... whatever is inside is definitely well protected... and compact... nice and portable!!
