Basmati Rice (Brick Pack) 2KG, Aromatic, Long Grain, Aged, Non-Sticky, Ideal for Biryani, Pilaf, and Everyday Meals

I always buy this rice but usually from store. this time it was on a great offer so I could not stop myself. The quality, taste, and smell are all really good. It may not be the absolute best rice out there, but for the price, it offers excellent value. The grains are medium-length and cook perfectly every time.

This is a top quality basmati rice and I praise it for its long, slender grains and fragrant aroma. For instance, this Basmati Rice has "pleasantly chewy" grains that are "fragrant and tender," making it my favorite for dishes like biryani and pilaf and compliments the meats or vegetables used quite effectively. I used to work in Indian restaurants but this is the rice for me at home. Two cups of rice and three cups of water. Wash the rice prior and soak in two and a half or three cups of water for at least half an hour and then cooked medium heat 10 mins then low heat 8 mins for firm. Remember Three cups of water for soft rice same timing.

My go to Basmati rice. The rice quality, smell, taste, texture is great. ITs maybe not the best rice you can get but the value for money at this price makes it spot on. Grain length is medium-length and it cooks perfectly in around 14-16 in my rice cooker. Its definately a good purchase if you use a lot of rice at home like i do. Recommend purchase.
