Password JDM Honda Ruckus / Zoomer Aluminum Foot Pegs - Purple

Okay, so I put these on my Honda Ruckus about a week ago. First day I rode with them on when I was walking the bike I would hit my calves on the pegs. Needless to say, my calves were pretty bruised but I "heard" that they really help just in case you drop the ruckus, so I kept them on a few more days to see if I can deal with them. THANK GOD. Went around a turn (I wasn't going fast) and slid because the white line was still a bit wet and I hit it wrong, my peg hit the curb throwing me off balance, I jumped/jolted into the grass. It skid around in a circle, I jumped up (not hurt) ran over to the bike... not a SCRATCH except on the bottom side of the peg. My legs can take a beating for a few more days until I get used to them, NOT taking them off, EXTREMELY glad I got them. Oh, and I learned my lesson not to take tight turns on a dewey morning :\ Plus, these pegs help a lot when I'm going over rail road tracks that's for sure. The only reason for the 4 stars not 5 is because of my legs. You don't want to see a picture.

These foot pegs are the perfect size and the quality is great. The position is just right for my wife riding on the back. She doesn’t take up my foot space and she can wear shoes with a bit of a heel. The one flaw however is that the edges are VERY SHARP! I had read this in the reviews ahead of time, but shrugged it off. They don’t appear terribly sharp and I couldn‘t imagine how I could possibly cut myself on them. Today, I was backing my Ruckus out of the garage while wearing shorts and sliced my calf open pretty badly. I might need stitches. I highly recommend immediately filing the edges down before you use them!

The PWJDM pegs are very well machined, and extremely high quality. They are custom machined to "seat" perfectly into the large holes just behind and under the footboard.I use these along with a Schwinn seat mod for a second rider (only occasionally) who reports that the pegs make the ride much more secure and comfortable.They stick out from underneath the footboard by about 2 inches, so they aren't the longest, but you wouldn't want to go any longer as they could scrape your legs as you walk the bike. The pegs are tapered to supposedly allow for severe turning without scraping the pegs. Personally I don't think any turns would come close to hitting the pegs, so I don't think this is necessary, but it looks cool. The taper doesn't come to a point, but it is pointy enough to want to avoid scraping your leg on.My only complaint is that the pegs were packaged with the bolts and nuts, but not the necessary washers to hold the pegs on to the bike! In case this happens to you, the washer size is approx 36mm (outer) with a 12mm inner hole size.

They are very sturdy and nice looking but... If you are planning to put these on a stock ruckus with the stock floor plastic the pegs barely stick out far enough to put your feet on. At the same time and for no fault of the peg design they are located in a spot that bump your ankles when duck walking. Wish there was a cheap forward peg option or maybe a collapsable version of these...

The pegs only extend about 2 inches past the plastic on the Ruckus. I added a 1 inch stand-off spacer and they work fine. I also had to buy longer bolts. I have heard people say that if they extended further there would be a risk of the pegs scraping the ground. That is not true. You would have to almost lay the scooter on its side before these pegs scrape the ground with the spacers on. The pegs should be about an inch longer and it would be nice if the manufacturer would grind down the sharp edges.

I have these installed on my 2005 Honda Ruckus and love them! The seating position is so much better than having your feet in front of you. When I switch colors I will be buying another set. I plan on using these on all future build and projects. The gold color really pops. This is my first Password JDM product and will be back for more.

Easy to install if got the right tools looks good on my new stock Honda Ruckus. Saves your floor board from getting scuffed up and makes a more comfortable ride. Would recommend√

I take a sharp turn on a slick patch on the road, my Ruckus and I landed on my left side. I had just gotten off of work and wearing a button up and tie, my shirt and tie were done. I was fine, so was my Ruckus! These pegs actually took the fall and kept my Ruckus safe from damage, highly recommend. They are sharp but once you realize they're there, you won't make the mistake of cutting yourself.
