Works great!
Displays full HD clearly. Bought a cheaper one first that had a flicker in full HD and returned it. This one works great!

Worked for CRT monitor!
Had issues with other adapters from other sellers and had to return them, but this one worked perfectly to allow me to hook up my CRT monitor to my modern PC! I saw many people on Reddit suggesting StarTech for this purpose and they did not let me down!

Fabulous Tech Support
I was confused about which adapter I needed to make my multiple monitors work. I called StarTech and spoke with an incredibly patient and helpful tech support rep. We figured out what I needed and he directed me to the Amazon site to purchase it. This type of customer service is virtually non-existent in the US today.

std adapter
I would have given it 5 stars, except it didn't work on my HP elite 8000 computer, apparently it only has a version 1 dataport, but works perfectly on my laptops that don't need another VGA port the way I use them.
