If you are looking for a book with all black pages, this isn't it. For some reason there is a white line across the top. It is more like a journal than a sketchbook. And the pages have a clear white core. When you open it the spine is stiff and when you pull it apart you can see the white. Plus, the pages have a glossy finish. Not a textured one. If you just want something to doodle in or journal, this is an okay product. I wanted the paper for a paper crafting project and ended up buying something else to use.

It's not bad for the price but to me I feel like it's just printer paper with black ink on it( something you could do at home) not thicker black pages and all black either like I was thinking I would get like other black sketchbooks I saw, but still for a black sketchbook for the price is not bad. I used a paint marker and it didn't transfer to the other pages so that's good also.

This book is great for gel pens. The pages are of quality and the book is durable.

Paper is thin & is basically black ink on printer paper with a white border. It’s okay for the price (under 4$ on sale) but I really wish it didn’t have the borders. This is good for gel pens, but I wouldn’t use this for paint or pastels or any other thick medium.
