Blood of the Army (Condemning the Heavens Book 2) Kindle Edition

After having read the first book, then this one close behind it, I've begun to loose interest. Not because of the story itself. I'm loosing interest because the story telling is beginning to come across as if I was watching a poorly dubbed martial arts movie out of Hong Kong. The constant referral to story element that were told less than a chapter before and covering it again as if the person had just walked in on the movie, started to drive me away. I don't know the origins of the author, but this element of their story telling has started to detract from the story for me.

I liked the first book, felt it was slow but spent adequate time building the world and then ended with some good action. I was optimistic that this book would continue to have similar conflict as the ending of the first; however, it was just so boring. The constant misuse of the word, "sneered" is slowing driving me crazy. How does someone jump infront of bullet and then "sneer" at the person they saved? Would they really "contemptuously smile" at someone as they're dying??? I'll read the third book before deciding to drop the series, but it's not looking good.

The second installment in Tinalynge's new series and this book sees the stakes rise and the plots, human and beast, thicken.The MC takes the next step forward as he joins the army as a lowly recruit and new paths develop that may save his life in the future. Friendships are forged that prove crucial and he is forced to make some tough choices as the enemy pulls off a very successful coup.Really enjoyed the book and like the direction the story seems to be taking. however I note that the editing in this book is not up to the usual standard.

A continuing good story following the life of the main character What's going to happen to him is now a Great Unknown, but I can’t wait to find out😁

This author is my all time favorite, every book I've read that this author has put out is amazing the stories draw you in. You care about what happens. As always I await the next book. 10/10

this was a awesome book 2. action, growth, accusations, new teacher, and the return of her. plus a birdy! filled with new things in a fast pace that sweeps one away, worth the price.

Love the series and the author is great. I have read the pervious series that she has published and enjoyed them as well.

Quite like how the mc isn’t getting overpowered to quickly in some xianxia novels. Over all worth a read. Mute

The second instalment was just as enjoyable as the first. Although the going over old ground was a tad annoying. That's the only negative though. Great story and looking forward to the third.

Every time I think i'be figured out the MC's heritage, I keep getting stronger along. It's infuriating, but it's a good thing. Keep up the good work.
