Works Perfect
I was worried after reading the reviews from some who these didn't work well for them, but having a Homekit enabled light marked high on the list for us, and the Wemo seemed to be the best. We've used their plugs in the past and they worked fine.Happy to report that the switch works great. Zero issues. (Sigh of relief). If I do have issues, I'll try to remember to update the review, as I've ordered more. The switch does have that LED circle that I wish we could turn off from the app. Our switch is for the outdoor lights, so it's not in a bedroom, so the light on the actual switch isn't a bother at night--just wish we could turn it off if we wanted to.As far as temperature goes. The switch does get slightly warm, but not hot when the light is on. Since it's the porch light, it's on for hours at night, but it doesn't get any hotter, just warm.Installation wasn't bad, just make sure to get the neutral wire to the right spot. The neutral wire was not connected directly to the old switch device, but was back in the box. Even knowing this, I just about hooked up the wrong colors. Just keep an eye on matching the diagram.I love that the switch is Siri enabled now, and we set up an automation through the Home app. Works great!

Reliability can be a function of your WiFi network's quality
I have installed six Wemo outlets and two Wemo single-pole switches. At first, I was quite frustrated with Wemo - connectivity was always problematic. Devices kept dropping out, and then dropping back in, with no real detectable pattern. This was particularly an issue when I was not home - using the Wemo app via cellular connection was a form of Russian Roulette.I then performed an already-planned upgrade to my entire local-area network (LAN). After updating/upgrading my LAN and WiFi hardware, I have found that the Wemo devices are now rock-steady, even when accessing them while on the road. I can only conclude that my WiFi network was to blame. My original LAN had an eight-year-old DOCSIS 2.0 modem, and a similarly aged 10/100/1000 router. From the router, I ran three small six-year-old b/g/n access points throughout my house - it was the only way I could get enough signal strength in every room.My new LAN has a DOCSIS 3.1 modem, a gigabit router (with its WiFi function disabled), and a single n/ac three-band 1.6 Gbit WiFi access point that puts out enough signal to cover the whole house (the access point has six antennas!).As stated, after switching all of the Wemo devices over to a "modern" WiFi network, the Wemo switches and outlets have worked flawlessly. In messing with the Wemo devices, here are some lessons I have learned:1) Use a single WiFi router (or access point) that puts out lots of signal.2) After installing all of your devices, uninstall and then re-install the Wemo app on your phone. This clears any old settings and/or cache values that may create conflicts. Uninstalling/re-installing seems to work better at "clearing the table" than just clearing cache and data in the app manager.3) Specific to the switches (the device reviewed here): The reset button is a little depressable bar located under and at the bottom of the "regular" (on/off) button. To install the switch on your WiFi network, depress this reset button long enough such that you'll see the indicator LED on the on/off button cycle through all of the available colors (starting with red, switching to white, then blue, then finally red again). When the LED is flashing red, let go, and then wait for the LED to start flashing blue. This can take up to ~ 45 secs to execute. When the LED is flashing blue, the device is ready for pairing with your WiFi network (Wemo's own instructions regarding this process are rather nebulous).

If you have WeMo you'll like the wall switch.
I had an electrician install the wall switches. The spacing was a times tight especially with a three in a row plate. I recommend using an electrician to install the wall switches. I can now program the ceiling lights garage lights outside flood lights to come on at the desired times and go off. They work with Android home control Google Assistant. The primary program is the WeMo phone app. If you know how to use the WeMo plug switches you'll be able to adapt to the wall switches and find them even easier to use after installation.I would not recommend these unless you are familiar with WeMo outlet switches and have learned how to program them. I have been using the regular plug outlet switches for several years. Decided to try the wall light switches and they sink very easily and stay synced. There is a learning curve to WeMo therefore I recommend starting with the regular plug outlet switches. The product is improving with time and for me is totally acceptable and convenient.

Everything seems to work well, have installed 2 so far
I have an electrical background so wiring them is not an issue, just make sure you have a neutral wire. A white wire does not always mean you have a neutral in the switch box. Using Wemo app and Alexa work great together
