Inside the bag there are two pillow protectors, something that I hadn't noticed in the ad, but a very welcoming site to find. The exterior of the pillow protector is a soft to the touch almost terrycloth pattern fabric. The protector itself is a lot thinner than I thought. It might be. The inside of the protector is billed as being waterproof and featherproof. It looks like it has a plastic liner of some type. But it doesn't feel plastic to the touch. There's no washing instructions on the pillowcase itself, but on the cardboard insert in the package it recommends that you do not dry clean, machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not iron, tumble dry low, and do not use softener. (Why not softener?) I bought these pillow protectors because I have a feather pillow that I've had for many years. That is very comfortable except for one thing. As it's gotten older, the pins of the feathers tend to work out of the pillowcase and get past the pillow cover and end up scratching me. Not comfortable, and indeed annoying. I'm hoping that this pillow protector will help with that issue. After sleeping with the new cover in place under my regular pillow cover and over the bare pillow itself, I can say that it works well. No scratchy pin feathers sticking out last night!

These pillow covers are great! No more feathers poking me while I'm trying to sleep. They do fit on the pillows fairly tight. I took it slow putting them on and then laid across the pillow while zipping them up to make sure all the air was released. They are working out great and I'm so happy with my purchase.

I was surprised to receive these and find they’re a Terry cloth like fabric. They seem cheap and I was a little bit embarrassed to give them as a gift. But, hopefully they’ll do the job of prohibiting escape feathers. On a higher note, they are soft, and I expect they won’t make crinkly noises despite the plastic like material inside. I will come back and edit this once I hear feedback from the gift recipient.

No more feathers poking out! Very happy with these pillow covers and really does keep the fathers inside the pillow.

I had purchased some new down feather pillows. After a while, random bits of down would leak out and float around every time I get in bed and lay on the pillow. These protectors fit easily over my super fluffy feather pillow. The small zipper smoothly slides close, sealing off the down from escaping. It seals so well, in fact, that it even traps the air too so delfating the pillow to your desired squishiness takes a lot of time and effort. The workaround is by unzipping the protector by a tiny amount. Maybe one little bit of down may escape once in a while but for the most part, it stays contained within the pillow while allowing the pillow to be maleable. The fabric of the pillow is not super cheap feeling. It has a nice soft texture on the outside, and slips easily into my normal pillow cases. No weird odors. My pillow feels normal amd I don't notice the pillow protector is on it at all. Definitely recommend.

It's been about 4 months and these covers are tip-top! I think I only found 1 or 2 feathers this whole time of use. The zipper stays closed and I like em so much I'm ordering more for my king sized pillows. I ordered a different brand with a thicker, quilt like material for my king pillows and those are horrible. The price is awesome too for how good of quality these covers are. If you're questioning getting these trust someone (me) who reads every review possible before making a purchase, cause I hate doing returns:)

after just 2 months… …so if feathers can escape out… then bugs can get in cos they’re smaller… Not impressed… Too late to get a refund

I bought these for my throw pillows on the couch that were particularly “pokey” from the feathers. These covers stop the feathers from coming through completely. Very worth it.
