Best for extremely dry skin
I have used shea butter to moisturize my very dry legs for several years. It is the best natural substance I have found for this purpose. I have tried many different brands, some costing more than $50 for a few ounces. This brand, Okay African Shea Body Butter, is by far the best value. While it is not pure white, as the high end brands say, or whipped to a frothy consistency like some, its effectiveness is just as good. The pale off-white/gray color is not offensive. And the shea butter softens as soon as you rub it. This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin, as long as you don't mind being a bit slippery for a while. I highly recommend it.

A little goes a long way!
This raw yellow shea butter is a must-have in my daily routine! It’s 100% natural and incredibly versatile—I use it for everything from moisturizing my face and body to treating dry patches, stretch marks, and even as a hair mask. The texture is thick and rich, but it melts beautifully in your hands and soaks into the skin without feeling greasy. It leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and super smooth, especially during the winter months. On my hair, it adds moisture and shine while helping to tame frizz and split ends. A little goes a long way, so the 13 oz jar lasts a long time. Plus, knowing it’s raw and pure makes me feel confident I’m giving my body something truly nourishing. Highly recommend for anyone who loves natural skincare or struggles with dryness or stretch marks!

Eczema magically calmed!
I have suffered with the miserable itch of eczema for years now. I have been applying this liberally to my skin multiple times daily, specifically in problem areas. I just got this on Tuesday, today is Friday, barely 4 days of use. One area of skin on my abdomen was discolored & hardened from years of scratching. The discoloration is now gone, skin is soft again & the area is almost completely healed. I still have problem itch areas, but it is not as controlling as it usually is. When it itches, I gently rub on more shea butter. I am really hoping that with continued use I can at least get the problem patches healed & under control. It has no real scent, kind of smells like plastic. Not a great smell, but not bad either. It is smooth & easily applied. It’s solid, but melts with friction/heat. Living in Texas & having ordered during summertime, mine was delivered as a liquid, but it was wrapped in airtight plastic & the container did not leak. My skin is so pretty & smooth now, so glad I found this. If you have eczema or even just dry, itchy skin - you need this stuff!

The product definitely works
Quality:Would definitely recommend. After using shea butter consistently, I've seen significant improvements in my skin. My scars have faded, and my skin feels softer and more hydrated. I still have some scars to be faded, but thus far I’m seeing the results.

The ONLY thing I'll use in the winter now
Why did I not know about this fantabulous stuff sooner??? When I put it on after a shower at night, I can still feel it the next day on my skin. WHA????I love everything about this African Shea body butter. I love that it's crumbly but then it melts perfectly between your hands. It takes more effort than body lotion since you have to warm it up in your hands first and then apply it. I didn't know that until I watched review videos on Amazon. It's almost kind of fun because you have to play with it first. Then it just lasts and lasts and lasts and....It has a nutty, earthy, natural smell to it which not everyone will love. But that's how it's supposed to smell. There is no added fragrance - a must for me and my fair, sensitive skin. If you want to smell fruity or flowerey, this isn't your stuff. That's when that Truly Unicorn Fruit body butter comes into play. A friend had recommended it but it's sooooo heavily fragranced and costs $24 for 1.3 oz. Ummmm... No. This cost $6.50 for 13 oz. and I have a feeling the 13 oz tub will last quite a while. It took me 45 years to know about nature's miracle in a tub but now that I do, I can never be without it again. Ever.
