I take these for depression related to brain inflammation and deficiencies, and general inflammation, mostly. They help with my inflammatory acne, and being chelates, are supposed to be more bioavailable. The most obvious thing they've helped me with is post-partum depression, which I suspect is caused by post partum nutrient deficiencies. They seem to help a lot with calming mood swings and outbursts of anger.When my husband injured his back, he went through a time of having very bi-polar-like manic and depressive episodes. I encouraged him to take these, and there was a noticeable difference within a week or two. I believe they helped after he had a concussion, as well, but now I can't remember the exact timeline.I know that they help us, and I am currently ordering our 11th bottle.They're very large, but really not at all difficult to swallow due to the shape and texture. Even my seven year old can take them!Tip: take them with food in your stomach, or they will make you nauseated.

This is the worst bottle I have ever gotten. The bottle has chunks of gel on the outside lid and everything is exploded inside. The gels is not slick but very grainy like they have been in there for a year. I will never order these again because now my money is wasted because these are bad. I have gotten where a few pills are broke but the liquid is clear and not grainy and certainly did not have color to the liquid. TERRIBLE SELLER

Be aware these are very large pills. My bottle arrived with pills all melted together. I almost sent it back upon opening it. In hindsight, I should have asked for another bottle. I was in a rush and took two at a time, not realizing they were fully stuck together. I literally spent the next 35 minutes on my knees, doing breathing exercises trying to stay the panic welling up in me as these pills were 100% stuck midway down, not moving in my esophagus. It was extremely painful - I broke out in a cold sweat, starting trembling, and my body created a ton of saliva, but I could not swallow without even more pain so I spit most of it out in a bowl. I finally used a heating pad on my neck to try to soften the casing of the pills, and after 5 minute of heating pad use, they finally started to move and went down to my stomach. I ate a liquid diet for 1.5 days after this due to pain swallowing. So I caution everyone that these pills truly are large on their own, and if you get a bottle that melted in transit, do yourself a favor and ask for a replacement. That said, I bought these at the recommendation of a Dr., for mineral support, and I do believe they are of high quality. Bottom line - make sure they are not melted together and only swallow one at a time with ample water. What happened to me was completely preventable if I had been paying attention.

So many minerals I never heard of! I guess Is it a good product? I can only trust you represent what you advertise. I purchase these products by faith.

UPDATE 12/25/2024:This started out as a great product that I've bought from Amazon, and taken for the past 7 years. But after getting sick from eating some of the ones that have broken open, I refuse to use Carlson chelated minerals in the future. Once the outer seal of these minerals crack and let in air, the mineral solution oxidizes, and you can become sick like me. Carlson had all the time in the world to fix their problem and warn the public, but chose profits over their customer's health.Original Review:This is one of the few mineral supplements bound to glycinate. Glycinate does not require strong stomach acid to break the mineral bond. It is water soluble, and in the case of magnesium, it makes 63% of the mineral bio-available.

Some of the gel caps leaked in previous purchases of 90 soft gels from a local health food merchant. This 120 soft gel bottle was missing the inner safety-seal and the outer shrink-wrap around the top was suspect as well. Since I usually wait to open the products until my other supply is depleted, the apparent deadline to return the product has expired according to Amazon.

I been taking vitamins for years and can feel the difference with this mineral supplement; however, the size of it feels like a horse pill. I just concentrate when I have to take it
