A Game Changer for Dog Walks - Leashboss Pattern Bungee Dog Leash Extension
I recently purchased the Leashboss Pattern Bungee Dog Leash Extension and it has been a game changer for our daily walks. My 51 lb Chinese Shar-pei pulls on walk and I either worry about him hurting himself or him hurting my shoulders and lower back. This 18" shock absorbing lead extender has significantly improved the comfort and control during our outings. The bungee feature is the star of the show, providing just the right amount of give to absorb the sudden movements of my energetic pup, reducing strain on both my arm and my dog’s neck. It’s clear that this product was designed with the dog’s comfort in mind. The pattern design is not only stylish but also adds a touch of personality to our walks. It’s a fun way to express my dog’s character while also being functional. The 18" length is perfect, providing enough distance for my dog to explore without compromising my control over his movements. It’s a great balance that makes walks enjoyable for both of us.The Leashboss Pattern Bungee Dog Leash Extension is a high-quality product that has enhanced our walking experience. It’s durable, functional, and stylish. I highly recommend it to any dog owner looking to upgrade their walking routine. It’s worth every penny!

Protection from yanking without weighing down leash
We love these Leashboss Bungee Dog Leash Extensions! They work well for my 70lb shepherd and my 16lb schipperke. My dogs are trained to respond to leash pressure and don't usually pull on the leashes, but occasionally they get excited and yank, putting pressure on their bodies and mine. These bungees considerably decrease the force exerted on both ends of the leashes, and help to protect my bad back. I love that these bungee extensions protect us and don't weigh down the leashes. The bungees appear well made with medium weight hardware.I had previously bought another brand of bungee extensions, but they were heavy and weighed down both our retractable leashes and our normal nylon leashes. These bungees from Leashboss are sturdy and allow our leashes to function normally.I think these bungees will do well for dogs who occasionally pull on the leash. If your dog pulls all the time I would expect any bungee to wear out.Overall I highly recommend these Leashboss Bungee extensions. I'll update if they wear out or break, but so far I think they're a great value for the money!

Wondering if you need this? Yes.
You may think you do not need it, I did not when I bought mine. But buy it right now, you will thank me, and your dog will thank you.Read the long version as to why I feel that way if you have a minute or two.The sunset photo is of my dog Niko The bungee is not pictured in this photo.I have only used this once so far, but I love it, and so does Niko. I have had dogs all of my life and have never had a problem not having a bungee, but all my dogs have had a few yanks on a few walks. My dogs have always been ok. But for every time it happened, I wished it had not.I saw this nifty looking item but I skipped clicking on it since I was not "needing" one. I needed a leash immediately and was about to run to the store and blow $40!!! Upon reading a review for a leash on Amazon, I chose one and quickly added it to the cart so I could get it ordered asap for that days shipping deadline. I figured it was worth it to order the one I wanted and not drive to Petsmart after all. The leash I bought was only $20 (I was about to buy a lesser quality leash at Petsmart for almost $40.) I decided since I was "up $20" in a way, I would buy my dog a toy or treat of some sort. I remembered this item that had caught my eye and decided to go back and take a look at it. I quickly decided, with my big $aving$, to splurge on Niko and get him this bungee without any more thought. No reading the description or reviews... just click add to cart and go. Gone. Ordered! Did not care if it would be good or bad, I only cared about the leash really and getting quickly was the most important factor. While I was waiting the two days for the leash to arrive, I was walking Niko with my old, broken retractable leash and it would constantly become slack as I could not keep up with it as quickly as this Husky trots. As we were on a walk just yesterday, I accidentally stepped on the slack leash and it caught him and seriously jerked him around. He is a 57 lb. dog but I am a 220 lb weight stopping that leash dead in it's tracks. Niko spun around a good bit and looked at me. I am sure he was wondering what was wrong with me because I would not normally interrupt his trot as he and I are a good trotting team especially in a wide open space like we were in. He is ok, again. The difference was, now I knew that this bungee was already on the way and I decided right then that I did need it after all. I owe it to the dog, he is a great dog and loves to trot along on walks. Now I knew that if I had this bungee already it would have been much less significant of a yank on his neck.Today the bungee arrived along with my awesome new leash by Mowis, the one with the flash light. This leash has a significantly strong retractable power and has absolutely no problem keeping this bungee up and out of the way of Niko's feet. I mention the leash power because I know my last leash, which was not good to begin with, would never had had the power to keep this bungee up and out of the way. If I were to have used this bungee with the old leash I might have found a negative to this bungee as it is heavy and would have sagged his old leash. I know that with the way my dog trots and turns... It could create "more" of a trip hazard, BUT, now that I have a proper leash, I see that this heavy bungee is just right after all. The clasps are bungee are pretty heavy duty and that is because it is made very well with what seems to be heavy duty materials and nice. It is strong.I hope I do not have too many more tangles that may make my dog jerk back abruptly. I am from now on going to be more careful in general. If nothing else, this bungee will make me a better walker. If it ever does happen again, for only $10, my dog's neck now has protection. If anything changes I will update. One thing to mention, If your dog likes to sniff and get too close to some things, remember you have a longer pull to make on the leash to make the dog feel the correction. Tonight, my dog tried to snag some random piece of food outside near a picnic table. He almost got it because my typical correction did not really work. I had to pull longer to keep him away. Now I know. Remember the stretch of the bungee can give the dog a little more room to lurch at something than normal even if you have him on somewhat tight.***This is my first "wordy" review. If you have read this far and if it was helpful please let me know.***

Consider this a limited life span item
This product was used as a leash splitter to try and contain two Basset hounds that weigh 44 pounds each. They are hard pullers when they lock on a scent, often pulling these to full extension. When new, these work pretty well for their designs purposes, but I do have some complaints. First-the hardware should be larger. My little hound succeeded in snapping off the snap hook on the end of one leash. The hardware should at least be like the ones used on some of the other leashes. (See above photo for comparison to the one used on the Traffic Handler 12inch leash).Preferably a different type of fastener altogether, as this type is prone to accidental opening. I would love one with D-rings on both ends as I use a locking carabiner to attach to the harness anyway.Second-they stretch out too quickly and then lose half of their functionality. I have other bungee leashes that have lasted longer. The good points. When new they work great. The webbing and stitching is top-rate. Even at the end of their lifespan they are still intact but for the hardware. And they are not expensive. I would be willing to pay more for an upgraded version. For most people whose dogs pull only occasionally these would work fine.I've just purchased a second set to see how they hold up, because I am still happy with them overall.

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. I love this leash extender with bungee. The stitching is amazing. Best stitching I've seen. It's reflective too and lights up bright when car lights hit it.The hardware is really strong and holds up to my Leo's incredibly strong tugging.I got it in the Orange Blanket color. The color's look very Peruvian. So pretty.I'm going to recommend this to my circle of doggy momma friends.Glad I got it. Good buy 👍🏻😊
