I wondered if this would be one of those costumes that would fall apart and be super cheap. It wasn't. I was actually surprised at how well-made it is. My 18 month old son wore this. This costume is very thick and warm. It is very roomy. He wore it with jeans underneath at night and still had plenty of room. He was about 28lbs at the time. The tail did not stay on very well. It velcros to the back but probably needs to be pinned on. I didn't bother. The feet are cute but can't be put on over shoes so he just wore brown sneakers outside. But for the indoor parade he wore the feet and they are adorable. He was sweaty by the end of the parade. I recommend this costume because hugging your super cute and very soft monkey baby is lots of fun!

Super cute costume! Now, if i can just get my one year old to keep the hood/hat part on!My son is 14 months and 30" tall (21 lbs) and i bought the size for a 12-18 month old. My son is a little small for his age but it fits fine. It's an adorable costume that is warm and cozy. The feet aren't great for walking in- they're HUGE! They will look adorable for pictures and then i'll just put normal shoes on for walking around. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for something he will only wear one or two times, and this was perfect. Good value!

It's super, super cute! My son is almost 12 months, but he's tall, so I ordered the 18 months size. It's fine length-wise, but a big around the middle (which is perfectly okay for this costume). The hat attaches with velcro under the chin and is soft and uncomfortable - my son normally hates wearing hats but he didn't notice he was wearing this, ha. The feet are worn like socks, and also stayed on and were comfortable. My only issues are:- I wish the tail was sewn right to the costume. It stayed on, but I imagine it won't for long as he's pretty mobile at this age- I wish there was a zipper spanning the length of the costume. It only goes zips from halfway up the back, making it hard to get on- It's furry on the outside and lined on the inside, which is awesome for the cold outdoors, but inside, my poor baby was sweating!We're keeping it because it's cute, but for next Halloween I'll be more careful buying him something easier to get on and off, and something that's a bit lighter as we don't live in a place where it gets freezing cold on Halloween.

My son looked adorable in this costume! We got so many compliments. After Halloween, I kept the hat and the feet for him to wear through the winter. They were so cute and he looked so adorable people we didn't even know stopped to comment on his cute "feet" or his hat. He actually seemed to enjoy wearing the costume as well. He's my third kid and Halloween was always iffy when they were younger because when really little kids don't like the costume (or it's uncomfortable for them) it can make them miserable and ruin the evening. My son loved his monkey costume though. He didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. He even kept the hat on throughout Trick-or-Treating which really surprised me. Make sure you have a safety pin for the tail - the velcro isn't quite strong enough to hold it on all night. Even with that flaw, this costume was a win for me and my son. It also fit like I expected it to and it was very warm. Halloween around here is usually pretty cold but he actually got a bit sweaty in this costume. The media could not be loaded. This costume is beyond cute on! I was hesitant about ordering it at first, but once I received it, I was SO happy I did. I was extremely impressed by the quality and baby seemed comfortable in it. I will say I had a hard time keep the tail on with a one year, but what do you expect.

We purchased this costume for our son's first HALLOWEEN. Although he is only 7 months old he normally fits into 12-18 month clothes, which is the size that we purchased. My recommendation is to purchase this costume early, maybe mid / late September so that you can always return/exchange if you find the size is not correct. In all, he looked so adorable able we got tons of compliments from anyone who saw him in the costume. One note, the costume can get a little hot we we opened up the buttons by the legs for ventilation. Other than that, we all just loved him in this costume. Quality was great. Would definitely recommend. Just add banana :-)

For great and looked adorable

I ordered this for my son's Halloween costume. I loved it! We didn't wear the feet b/c he is walking and they are too wide to be practical. The tail is not as long as pictured but that is just fine b/c it probably would have gotten in the way. My son only wore the head piece for a little while (as I am sure most kids will do) but we got plenty of pictures with it on. The head piece goes on and off very quickly and easily. I will say the part that sits on the forehead dips down a little bit, so at times it was in his eyes but again what toddler is going to wear it the whole time anyway. The costume itself was super soft and well made. It held up in the washer and dryer as well. You also don't have to worry about your little one staying warm:)

I went bananas over this monkey suit. Good quality, comfortable, and sizing was correct.
