Sunflower bee entrance has killed lots of bees and blocked dead bees are unable to use entrance. Not only that bees can’t remove dead bees out through this design, bees get stock in green part due to trying to use it as exit, but today we found out all entrances were blocked by dead bees unable to clean hive nor go outside.Please do no purchase this product it’s a waist of your money.It needs to be reported to BBB,Because we lost a lot of bees in all our 17 hives.Elizabeth

I wanted this for my 10 frame hives. Only it doesn't fit a 10 frame. Maybe an 8 frame? I didn't think to go out and measure the opening in my beehives. Very disappointed. And since Amazon no longer let's you print your labels and makes you take to a ups store it's too much fuss to travel 30 miles to return it.

Cheap and Easy to bend- the micePulled the reducer back and chewed my hive and the bees chewed the other reducer - flimsy, junk - buy the metal ones if you have mice Or bees

Ok, so yes, they are functional. I have an 8 frame hive, I had to trim this down a bit with heavy scissors in order to get them to fit.They are also to be installed with a screw or nail to the FRONT OF THE HIVE. Seriously, I went to the auto body store and got some double-sided automotive decal tape and installed them with this.Yes they work as restrictors, no it was not an install from the package as implied. Happy beekeeping.

Easy to install and no tools required. (Just bow the piece and place the entrance, it snaps into place and stays via tension. it would be useful for them to give those directions in the description of the product.) Didn't fit two of my boards, but that would be due to their construction, not this product. Love the ease to open and close the opening.

This is well-made and exceptional value. Even though it is made of plastic, it is very durable and the bees tollerate it well. You can get five of these for the same price as one stainless steel reducer. Time will tell if this is the better value, but it works fine for our needs now. Works just as well as an entrance blocker for transporting hives.

Not quite sized long enough for standard hive boxes without extending the tabs. As it it shirt cannot completely close off a hive

***FOR FLOW HIVE PEOPLE, THIS WORKS!!!***Great product. Normal entrance reducers don’t work on flow hives. This does. I like how easy it is to adjust. Worked well in the winter too. I noticed my bees Put propolis to fill any gap during the winter. Love these!
