Pyramid Game of Thrones Map of Weste Wall Poster

I have been reading the entire Game of Thrones series on my Kindle Fire and it was a bit awkward trying to jump back to the maps to figure out where people were! I got this poster and put it on the wall where I could instantly check out the geography to better follow the story. It also makes a very nice wall decoration. If I had any criticism, it would be that, like the maps in the books, a lot of small landmarks, villages, Keeps etc are not shown. I would like a denser map with more detail, but haven't found anything better than this one (and it is better than the book maps because you can see the whole "world" without referring to six partial maps found in the books. Lots of locations are mentioned often in the books, but not shown on the accompanying maps. This poster shows you the "Free Cities" and the cities of "Slaver's Bay" and various islands and other locales.Great value and highly recommended for any serious fan of this epic series!

From the moment this poster arrived my coworkers and I were pouring over it. We'd all read the books and watched the show and we were quick to start tracing the routes of various characters as well as pinpoint some of the key locations.Without dropping any spoilers I should point out that this map is most accurate to the show as of the end of season two. Some other locations are included but many of the locations that would appear in later books are curiously absent. So, too, are some locations that are in the book but not in the show.Despite these omissions it's still a fun map and a great display piece for "Game of Thrones" Fans.

When I bought this poster, I was concerned because it looks exactly like the one for sale in HBO's official store, but at 1/3 the price, which made me concerned that this would be a cheap reproduction. If it is, I can't tell - the poster paper is high quality, the map is detailed (and not pixelated as far as I can see), and the colors all look good. Overall, it looks fantastic, and is absolutely worth getting.The one drawback is that there are a few (rather notable) cities missing from around Essos - specifically Lorath, Volantis, and Astapor. I think those are the only ones missing from Essos though. And over in Westeros, all the cities, landmarks, and houses both great and small are labelled, so for $7 I'm perfectly willing to overlook the few errors.

This poster map is very detailed and is a great addition to any fan's home or office (office for me!). I am currently still reading the books so this actually comes in handy when new cities/areas are introduced. You can make better sense of the story and their surroundings when you can see where on the map these events are taking place.Although it could probably be more detailed I still find this to be a great product. The more than reasonable price makes it an item I would definitely recommend to other GoT fans out there.

Before I write this, I will say that I'm rating this a 5 star strictly based on the poster, not the seller. PosterRevolution is atrocious. The map is really sharp, it's really neat to look at and see where the characters are as you read the books. It's pretty detailed and it looks awesome on my wall. Great part is, this same map is listed on HBO's website for $19.99 but you can get it WAY cheaper here. Buy on Amazon, but not from PosterRevolution.

As the title of this review suggests, this is a great buy for fans of the Game of Thrones TV series or books, or both. I'm still in the process of reading the books, but I got into the series through the TV show and loved it. I thought this would be a great addition to my wallspace and decided to get it. It's pretty cool to see where each location really is in the world of GoT.Excellent quality, arrived on time and in good condition.

The map looks just like the picture, the text is small but it's good quality and looks great framed. Side note, my original order came damaged because the mail carrier bend the picture box and the seller (Pyramid America) contacted me (after reading my original review where I mention this) and sent me a free replacement! Two thumbs up.

Pros:-Nice detailed map, includes cities that haven't been introduced into the show yet (like Braavos)-Its cool to see where all of the cities are placed, instead of just relying on your imagination to figure out where the different locations are in relation to eachother you can actually see where places like Winterfell and King's Landing are and the distance between themCons:-The text identifying the cities (and other locations) is EXTREMELY small, I have to put my face up to the poster just to be able to read the text on the map. This is coming from someone who has no problem reading something like bible-sized text a few feet away from my eyes. It's a combination of small text and poor color choice.-Some people will find a problem with the HBO logo/rights on the bottom right, I don't really mind. Its not a deal breaker or con for me. Just be aware that it is there.Overall I'd recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Game of Thrones

PARFAIT. La carte est très bien protégée dans 2 feuilles de papier dans un rouleau solide. La carte en elle même est imprimée sur papier brillant de qualité. Je regrette juste que les noms soient inscrits en anglais et qu'il faut du temps pour repérer les lieux du livre. Mais pas de regret de l'avoir achetée, elle est en outre très décorative.

This is amazing! It is hard to read, like some of the reviews mentioned, but it looks very, very cool up in my room, and the books have maps in them anyhow.
