Great charger

Product instructions recommend a maximum of 3mm depth when installing into/beneath a countertop or surface. We used our CNC machine to mill the cavity depth to exactly 3mm and the charger will not charge an iphone when placed directly above the charger on the counter surface. We tested the charger with nothing between the phone and charger and it does charge. We tested the charger by placing one sheet of sandpaper at a time between the phone and charger and the charger would only charge with a maximum of 2 sheets of sandpaper, which makes this charger inadequate for the reason we purchased it. Milling the surface to such a thin level makes it too fragile and susceptible to cracking from the surface.

The product does not have a power supply, you will have to buy one, and then have and electrician hard wire it.I am in the process of returning this, but i have have not a response back from the seller in a week. I just contacted amazon. they had to put an other request and see if we have any luck this time.
