Bought it as a gag
And it serves me faithfully when my power goes out.It's also kinda charming. Handle needs some extra crimp as it slips off but hey, it makes light and looks like a lantern.

BEST FOR PRICE!
I needed this for a cosplay and I even spray painted it to match what I needed. And the light is pretty good, it’s fairly good quality and decently heavy. It’s perfect for what I needed it for. Although if you’re camping with it or using for outdoor activities I’m not sure how much light you’ll get.

Not bad for the cost
Bought this as a prop for my daughters costume, so I'm not terribly bummed that it bent easily when she dropped it because I wasn't planning to actually use it as a lantern. Definitely worth the money since I was just using it as a prop, it was exactly what we needed for her costume - and it's really stinkin cute! Don't expect too much quality-sturdiness, this thing wouldn't survive a camping trip with kids. But if you are careful with it, I'm sure it would work just fine for the price.

Works great.We used it for Halloween, attaching it to a "ghost with chains" hanging near the house. The adjustable brightness allowed us to set just the right level. The batteries lasted for a week, running it from dusk to dawn every day.

Very nice. They must have switched back to glass after people were annoyed with plastic. I got these to keep as emergency lighting for my cabin rental in the mountains. They give off a lot of light and have a dimmer. Great value for the price. Like the vintage look.

The on/off switch broke the first time I used it. That’s not too impressive. I bought two of them and it only happened to one. Maybe a fluke?
