X-Men: The Mutant Empire Omnibus (Marvel classic novels)

I found his Chaos engine trilogy and have been seeking to read more old school comic "books". Great read. I read in airports mostly so this helped me get from place to place with lots of entertainment and intrigue.

I was able to read the original two novels when they were released in the early 90s. Never got to finish the story as I never could find the third book. Stumbled across this during a random search and am glad I did. Takes me back to a lighter time, when I could get absorbed into a novel and read for hours straight. If you are a fan of the XMen, this is an excellent purchase and you will enjoy this story. Would’ve made a great entry in the film series, if they had adapted it.

I still have my original copies of the this trilogy, but the convenience of all three in one collection is handy. I was disappointed that the original covers and chapter art was excluded and I found several typos and editorial mistakes not present in the originals, it's still a great story.

I am giving it a 3 star review since it is not a comicbook, and I did not find anywhere in the description stating that. However, the read might be worthwhile, so I'll give it a chance.

Man this trilogy was fantastic. I read this, like the others above, when i was a teenager back in the 90s, and fell in love with it. Ive been begging amazon and marvel to release these digitally for so many years now. Do yourself the favor and read this. It is an epic adventure worthy of your time.And if they ever release mr goldens other xmen novel, Codename: Wolverine, get that as well.

Its not an omnibus but it says it is online and its not a very good read
