Synopsis:HACKSAW RIDGE is the epic and inspiring true story of Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield; The Amazing Spider-Man franchise) an army medic and conscientious objector who, during the bloodiest battle of World War II, saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun. Brilliant
What a cracking film. I always enjoy films which are biopics or based on a true story and this was not exception. Andrew Garfield did an excellent job of portraying the main character and to think that all of this actually happened just blew my mind. The acting was top notch and made me quite emotional. This film is well worth a watch and I would highly recommend it ... unless you are a little squeamish as there is quite a bit of gore (a sad fact of war).
