Vionic Women's Madison Mia Heels - Ladies Pumps with Concealed Orthotic Support

So I am that older lady who fights the general shoe that does not have arch support, and is not comfortable, or a heel that makes me wobble. I suffer from Plantar faciitis if not in shoes with good support, and I have DVT which causes my foot, ankle, and calf to swell. So to find a brand of shoe that is attractive, has a heel, and is comfortable usually does not occur in one shoe. This Shoe Does That. I wore this shoe a couple of time in the evenings to prepare myself for an all day wear at a social event just to ensure I would not suffer from ankles that were rubbed raw at my event. So, yes I broke them in a little. But, besides that I can confirm that I was able to wear these from 11:00 in the morning until 7:00 at night. This covered my event and some downtown sightseeing in San Antonio at the Alamo on uneven pavement. I survived this without any sore feet, sore back, or blistered ankles. This show performed well. I really loved that it came in a color that was not only in black or beige. Very satisfied with my purchase and the Vionic brand.

The good: They look great and the color is beautiful. As always with Vionics, the arch and heel cup are a miracle.The bad: Why doesn’t Vionic make these in a wide (c/d) width?The really ugly: Back of the shoes cut into my ankles. Not because of them being too small (they aren’t and my toes have plenty of room at the front of the shoe) but because of the way they are shaped in the back.

The shoes were beautiful. They look well made, and the heel height was perfect, just what I was looking for. However, the shoes themselves had a horrible fit. I put them on to try them, and immediately knew they would be returned. Often with vionic I size up, but with these I bought the size I would usually wear, and they were way too big for a 7.5 size shoe. What was even worse was the arch placement was not at all where my arch was, not even close. It was in my heel, not even close to my arch! I wish Vionic would try again, and make it for the average woman's foot.

These were cute, but seemed to run a little big. I wear a size 6 and I had about 1/4" between my heel and the back of the shoe which made them kind of sloppy on my foot. Also, as soon as I put them on, I could feel the heel of the shoe digging into the back of my heel.. Thought I could maybe put in heel pads, but hated to sink more money into an already expensive shoe. Wore them around the house for a bit, and then my toes started to feel pinched. Returning. Also thought they'd be a little nicer leather - didn't seem much better than other cheap shoes I've purchased.

Sometimes I find pumps that will but these didn't. They are beautiful shoes. I ordered 7 1/2 and 8 based on reviews. Actually both pairs were long enough although I might have had trouble with the heel rubbing in the 7 1/2. I didn't consider them oversized and the 8 is my regular size which fit best. Only problem is that the edge of the pump hit my bunions wrong & was too painful to try to stretch it out. The only other thing I noted was that the arch support was a bit lacking compared to other Vionic pumps.

In terms of look and visual appeal, these shoes are great! For sizing though, it’s a completely different matter. I have several other shoes from Vionic, from sandals to clogs, all of them size 9 normal width. After finding these pumps, I was excited since I needed comfortable but professional shoes. When they arrived, I tried them on and found that at the toes it was FAR too tight and in terms of length, I was walking out of them! They managed to be simultaneously too small and too large.

Awesome shoes! Love the style and comfort. The only thing keeping these from 5 stars is that the back of the heel gave me a blister and I’ll have to buy a gel cushion to fix that. Otherwise, I think they are high quality with amazing arch support for a dress shoe

Are you kidding me? I rec'd the shoes on time and really wanted to love them, but when I opened the box, the right shoe had no rubber heel on it!! I am so disappointed, and don't know whether to blame the seller or the maker. Obviously this pair is going right back.I did try them on for fit, and it seems they do run large, but not so large they couldn't be worn. Normally I'd take a 10W but these fit okay for both width and length. Maybe they'll send a pair with both heels next time. The color was perfect, and the style looked good, so I'll look for to a second try.

Lovely looking shoe I ordered a 7 when I’m a 6.5 and they just fit. Narrow fit as well
