IT IS WONDERFUL SINKS INTO YOUR SKIN AND MAKES A BARRIER BETWEEN YOUR SKIN AND THE WATER BUT ID NOT GREASY. IT SMELLS FRESH AND GOOD ALSO. TRY IT IT;S WORTH MONEY BELIEVE ME YOU WONT BE SORRY.

Great addtion
I can see why so many guys like this. It's a great scent. It goes on smooth but a little sticky at 70F. I think in the hotter times of climbing this would go on smooth as silk. Just enough softening of the skin without that greasy feel. My hands are probably normal skin. I don't use this very often but when I need it, it's fabulous.

AMAZING
Amazing stuff, what a difference in my skin. Not climbing mountains, just climbing onto the couch but this stuff is incredible. Bought mini for my feet and 2 ounce tube for hands and body. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Convenient
I bought the bar version of Climb On! to carry in my purse, as I tend not to screw tube tops on tightly enough and when they end up opening they create a mess. For that purpose the bar works well, although I think the cream version (which is excellent) tends to be more effective.at finger crack prevention and repair.

Great moisturizer for cracked climbing hands
This lotion moisturizes and softens your hands without making them wimpy soft. I rub it on new blisters and roll it around my hand a few times a day, and blisters disappear quickly. Also smells awesome (my wife agrees).Be prepared for the tiny size. 0.5 oz is almost laughably small, but it lasts a while and it's cheap.

great if you get dry, cracked fingers, this is highly recommended!
i wash my hands a lot, I'm a doc so I wash a lot. Also have two kids and find myself doing the dishes a lot... not sure how I got to be chief cook and bottle washer, but when I don't glove up enough my finger tips get really dry and can even crack. I carry this around with me and apply sparingly to the fingertips once a day when the going gets rough. I've tried four other brands, this one is really thick, it comes as a solid piece unlike vas aline-based balms. I like that I apply it, lightly wash off the excess, and some of the balm still remains on.

Not for me
This is just not for me. It actually seems to make the cracks in my skin even drier and deeper. The claims in the 'About the Product' section and in the 'Product Description' are way over the top. It can be hard to get this on especially in cool weather. And once its on, its a little sticky. I don't see how anyone could use this on burns or diaper rash.

Gentle and effective for chapped or cracked skin
The Climb On bar is effective in soothing my cracked skin and protecting it from further damage. I live in the northeast, and as soon as the temperature dips each fall, my hands get dry and the skin begins to crack open along my knuckles and fingerprint lines (is there a better term for that?). I've tried a million products and even those specified for sensitive skin burn and sting my hands. This product is very gentle and doesn't sting at all. It's also made with food grade ingredients, which makes me feel good about using it on my kids, as well. I've been using the Climb On bar for my sensitive hands from September to April for about 3 years now, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
