Universal Stone Holder for KME Knife Sharpeners

I'm using with the kme Sharpener. Fits and functions perfectly with kme stones or larger. Much quicker at changing stones and feels better in the hand.

Works pretty well although it can be a pain to get the jaws aligned correctly. I'm sure it's possible to modify it to prevent spinning (similar to Edge Pro). Make sure you get the updated version (Grittomatic has it on their site too) which works nicer, allows you to use a magnetic angle guide, and costs the same! Most guided sharpening stones (Edge Pro, Hapstone, etc.) use 6x1 size stones, which means there is much more variety and availability compared to KME's 1x4 stones. This holder gives you access to that selection. If you have a KME and another guided system, you probably don't want to need to buy two sets of stones! This is lets you avoid this dilemma which makes this 100% worth it, even with the finicky clamp! Hopefully this helps someone lol

I swapped out my KME guide rod(4" stones) for this 6"stone holder,product claims it will hold my 4" stones,not so,but I do have a bunch of 6" stones,so now I have a well made long stone rod w/ metal plate for my magnetic digital angle finder,kinda $spendy plus shipping($5)

Very well made rod with a major flaw

Works as advertised. I like the spring loaded feature it speeds things along. Also the ability to use different brand and length stones on this guy is great!

If you have edge pro stones and want to try the kme and like using an angle cube this is a great product

The diameter of the rod is too big to use.Buying this is like throwing money away, so please never buy it.
