Do you want severe rope burn and PTSD when walking your dog? If yes, buy this lead!
This lead feels pretty durable for the few times we used it with our 60lb shepherd puppy. However, it causes such horrible rope burn that we stopped using it and bought a nylon leash. The problem with this lead is that it is dark, and long, so you can't see it at all on the ground. USUALLY this isn't a problem with a leash, but if this lead happens to touch your bare skin (ankle, maybe your palm) while it's moving, you will lose skin. A lot of skin. I have a scar on my leg from 3 months ago due to this lead, and my husband on his hand, both of which needed a ton of neosporin and weeks to heal to a point where we didn't feel pain anymore when moving. No, not exaggerating. The quality of this lead is horrible. And it's not like our dog is some marathon sprinter. But you can't touch this lead at all with your naked hands, unless you already have a good grasp on it. This means it's NOT good for training your dog (where you have to reel them in, or if you're trying to manage distance with your dog), and it's not good for dog sports like tracking - where you HAVE to let the lead run through your hands. It could be good for "walking" your dog in a situation where you always have the end of the leash in your hand and never, ever, touch the rope parts. But god bless you if you do accidentally make contact with the rope while your dog's moving. It will slice through your skin better than knife cutting butter.

Good for a Lab, maybe not for a GSD
Pretty good for the dog who doesn’t pull much, but my 90lbs Shepard has snapped three of them, so it depends on your dog...

Not for large dogs but ok for the already trained canine.
A basic rope and cheap hook. Not sure how long it’s going to last with my 100lb fur baby but we’ll see. The rope is thinner than I would expect for the description. I’d would recommend this for dogs/cats 45lbs and under.

Waste of money.
My dog is 30 pounds. Photo was after 3 months of use. The previous leash I had lasted for 3 years. Will not buy this type of leash again. It was a waste of money. My second dog is 20 pounds. The second photo was after 4 months of use. My previous leash is still useable after 3 years.

This rope is holding up well
Update :12/12/19 the little metal toggle that let's you open the clip broke off. It's still useable but difficult to open.My dog is 19lbs and this rope is holding out good. He's not big enough to break it with his weight but he does like to chew as most 9mo puppies do. We don't let him chew it but when he has it seems to be holding up well. The rope in the pic isn't the same one, just showing our dogs size and he's pretty handsome:)

Great handle, just tough to hang on to
The former 50’ lead I had broke when my puppy pulled on it- this lead seems to be better - my only dislike is that it is flat and not round and slides through my hands. I wrap it around my hand to increase control and I do like the handle on the end. These leads are great when training come and allow the dog room to run.

Dog leash
This is a great for my gsd. She loves the 50ft rope so she can run around and I don’t have to worry about her running off when we are at the park. Great for training. Great price for 3 leashes. I pack the 50ft leash in my back pack and we goto the park and let her run around..

Great & quality lead
Great lead! The quality of the lead is way better than the leads we bought in the past. The leads we bought in the past were not rope (they are flat and leash like) and knotted easily and the clip broke less than a year. Definitely recommend this lead.
