Spare Tire In A Can!!!!
Well, I got this, originally, to keep in my Bimmer, which doesn't have a spare. I have great roadside coverage, but there is always the chance of a flat somewhere without cell signal or whatever, so this seemed a good back up to have on hand. While I haven't needed it yet, for me, I got the chance to put it to the test, with my brother's Subaru. He doesn't carry his spare (to save weight) and last week we were leaving a local race track event when someone flagged him down to say his tire was flat. Thankfully, it was before we headed on to the highway. There was space to pull off, so we did, and I put this kit to work. Now, this does come with a fairly long power cord (connects to your "auxiliary power outlet" or what used to be called the cigarette lighter socket back in the day) but, with it being his back tire, the cord was somewhat stretched, so I used an extension cord (the BESTEK 12V 24V Cigarette Lighter Plug Cigarette Lighter Socket 12-Foot Extension Cord -- which is an AWESOME product, by the way) which I have in my car for various electronics related to the race tune on my engine. I was glad to have the extra length of cord, since it made setting this up a lot easier. The "emergency light" that it has is fairly weak, so don't expect that to be of much use (and besides, we all know to have a good flashlight and spare batteries stowed in our cars), but the kit itself is GREAT! First time user of the thing, and I found it to be as simple as can be. Connect one end to the tire valve stem, connect another to the canister sealant outlet, hit the power button and this little contraption starts clattering away and doing it's job. I like too that it comes in a simple zipper case, to keep it all together, and for re-stowing it when you're done. The advertising says it takes about seven minutes, but, in this case, it was coming near to double that by the time it pumped in the sealant, gathered pressure, and filled the tire to 36 PSI. I almost thought it wasn't working, at first, since it seemed, for a few minutes, the air pressure on the built-in gauge wasn't moving, but, then it started to climb, and the tire began to inflate and, like I say, more like 12 minutes or so, from start to finish, but all in all a very reasonable time -- less time than actually hauling out a jack and spare (even if he'd had one) and this is easier to use, when on a small roadside area, versus completing a full tire swap. The verdict? It did an epic job! Once the pressure started to build, it was a relief, and, once it was full, we checked it several times and it was not losing any air. What a great rescue, because, since it was late, no shops were open, and he had more than an hour of driving to get home, on highways, the main freeway and then the usual urban streets, but he made it fine, no problems at all. We actually stopped several times to check it, along the way, and it held solid. It was the weekend, so he used the car without issue and, when Monday came around, the tire was still full. He took it to the tire shop, and they not only had no complaints about this product, but actually spoke highly of it. They inspected the tire and said it's good to go, with no need for a new tire, since there was no damage to any part of it. Turns out the leak was a faulty valve stem, which they replaced, but clearly the sealant did its job, so, a round of applause for Fix A Flat!Best thing about this is you just buy a replacement canister of the sealant, which I have already done. So, it is re-usable not only as an air compressor, but, with the easy to replace refills, it will also always be ready to seal another tire. Pretty great tool to have for twenty five bucks!I have total confidence in this, now that I have seen it work. Obviously, the effectiveness will depend on the nature of the leak or the type of damage that has caused a leak, but this certainly is an invaluable kit to have in your car, and I'm really glad I took the chance on buying it, thanks to reviews here on Amazon. So, five stars, well deserved:* Does it what says it will do* Very cost effective compared to a tow or being stranded!* Super easy to use* Would definitely recommend to a friend (I'm buying a kit for my brother!)* Would definitely buy again (have already purchased the refill)Bottom line, I'd say any driver is wise to have one of these kits. I would suggest, depending on your vehicle, to consider also getting an extension cord. I could imagine, in a truck or SUV, that the included cord, though lengthy, could come up short, and the extension cord I mentioned is only fifteen bucks, so it's handy to have, for added peace of mind.A great product, and what a pleasure to find something that lives up to its claims! Took a bit longer, but that's of no consequence -- the point is that it did indeed fix the flat!Highly recommend! Thanks for reading, and I hope this is helpful.

EASY PEASY!!! So Easy to Set Up and Use
The package arrived today and within 10 minutes my tire was reinflated to 32 psi. So grateful for this easy-to-use system. The sealant replacement cans come with the clear hose attached and ready to go. All you have to do is slide the whole can unit into the case, attach the black hose to the top of the can unit, plug the car charger end into your vehicle (do not run the vehicle while using the charger), screw on the clear hose to the bad tire core (threaded), make sure the pump unit and can unit are flat on the ground, hit the yellow button and go. The side you see in this picture is actually flat at the time of use. Here, it looks vertical. There's even a bright little light for night usage. The sealant is white in color and the 16 oz. was used up in filling my tire, so I detached the replacement canister in its entirety and threw it out when finished. The directions call for you to drive the tire a mile to get the sealant evenly distributed. My 1994 Ford Ranger XLT is not currently drivable - just inflated the tire to keep the Town Code Enforcement away until I can sell or donate it. I'm gonna miss that old friend. I stored the replacement canisters with my household chemicals and the pump unit in its clear plastic case (included) is in my tool closet. I am a 56 year old female veteran if you need some perspective. No compensation for this review.

Good alternative to a VERY EXPENSIVE Run-Flats: READ THE UPDATE AND ADVICE....
UPDATE: I went to use this in an emergency and the inflator pump DID NOT WORK! It had power as the light worked...ADVICE!!!CHECK THE PUMP WORKS BEFORE put this in your car assuming you are protected...!!!!!!We have a fairly expensive foreign car that came with Run Flat Tires. Unfortunately, if one does any type of research, they will see a few notable things:a) No matter what brand, you'll find consistent reviews that they tend to be noisyb) They greatly vary as to wear, but seems to be consistent trends that they wear prematurely. (our case)c) Replacements are limited and VERY EXPENSIVE.....d) Some level of reviews trend that they are often not salvageable by the time one gets to the tire store or repair shop.e) YOUR particular run flat tire/brand will MOST LIKELY NOT be in stock and has to be ordered (leaving you possibly buying a temporary until it comes in.)After the Dealer told us how our rear DUNLOP tires were down to the wear bars WITH LESS than 12,000 miles (on a few-year-old car that isn't driven much) and all of the negatives above, we decided to buy conventional high end tires for which we had more choice and lower lower costs. We bought this to offset the run flat factor. Even if we use this and the tire is not salvageable (because of the "goo" OR for any other reason) we will still be ahead of the game as the replacement will most likely be in stock (in one place or another) and it WILL cost LESS then a run flatWe are only giving this four only because as we have not had to use it (And hope we do not) but we do not know (at this point in timeP) if it will actually work when we need it (we have confidence it will, but one never knows)This is cheaper send a competition at exactly the same thing except for the color of the button canister

Excellent Air Pump - This WILL Save You
I needed an emergency air pump, for those just in case scenarios. For a couple weeks I actually had a tire that was slowly losing air. Seeing as how I was working, literally every day until the next day I could get to bring my car to the shop, I relied on topping off the tire every morning with this little guy. The pump, obviously, is not the fastest thing in the world due to its size but when you're in a pinch, you won't care. Having the Fix-A-Flat is just a bonus. When I can fill the tire to the amount I need in about, maybe 10-12 minutes or so, I can accept that. This is definitely a good pump to have for an emergency, right alongside an emergency bag with some of the emergency green stuff to patch a tire too.

I purchased this for my new car that does dot have a spare tire. Arrived on time and as expected. I haven't used the product yet (hope I won't have to -ha!) however the packaging and instructions are very complete. A low cost insurance policy for quick roadside flat repairs. Going to buy one for my wife's car as well.

Super producto
Lo compré a menos de 300 pesos, increíble oportunidad, afortunadamente no he tenido que usarlo, pero la calidad es muy buena, y aunque no lo diga en la descripción, viene con una lampara led que funciona bastante bien!

A must have for any vehicle owner!
Works great! I've been using it quite a bit to fill up my tire which had a slow leak. Once I get to test out it's tire fixing feature I'll re-review and possibly give 5 stars if it works well for that :)
