Imagine, a hot sauce with flavor and great heat, enter Rogue.
This is a fantastic hot sauce, it brings a good punch of heat mixed with a good punch of flavor. While many hot sauces are hot for the sake of being hot, High River understands that people want to enjoy their food as well. I've done a lineup of chicken wings with Rogue, Grapes of Wrath, Foo Foo Mama Choo along side a few other brands like Ghost Pepper & Blueberry (Bravado), Blairs Mega Death Sauce, Franks, and a couple of others and all the folks eating it favored Rogue (and Grapes of Wrath as well) over all the others. The balance of fruit, but not too fruity, heat but not scorch your face was well received. Of course, it should be noted, this isn't a "mild" sauce, for those that are timid about hot sauces should beware. The ratios I used for our standard hot wings was 1-part butter to 2-parts Rogue. For those that were okay with hot, but not too okay with hot, I did 1:1 ratio of butter to rogue and they were good with it. The balance of butter to rogue really allows the flavor to shine and the heat to subside to tolerable levels even for someone that finds jalapeno's "just enough" heat.I also enjoy it on my eggs in the morning, in my chili, on ruffle potato chips and to add a kick to my salsa (daughter likes "medium" I like "hot" so we buy medium and I spike mine with rogue)

just don't get too cocky
this might be my new favorite hot sauce! has a great, tangy, citrusy taste to it, and then the jolokia heat comes in. like it really comes in lol... i made the mistake of trying a bit, going MMMM..... and then having a bunch more right away. i definitely know to treat this sauce with a bit more respect now. it didn't kill me, i have the Mad Dog 357 sauce and this is nothing compared to that in terms of outright heat, but it's much tastier. at least i have to assume the 357 doesn't taste as good because my whole mouth is dying after having some of that haha. this High River Rogue is a great sauce though, anyone who just doesn't get the feeling from frank's red hot or el yucateco needs to try this guy.

heat but amazing flavor) but this has it's place.
Sniff test: Very sharp odor, akin to Tabasco sauce with a hint of sweetness.Pourability: Definitely pours like Tabasco but not a bad thing! See why below.Heat: Quick bite of heat, plateaus, then hangs out but not like an unwanted morning guest. It's a pleasant heat. This is rated at 2 million SCU, I'd say 350,000 is more accurate. Remember,, these aren't concentrates so eating a blended hot sauce that is "2 M" vs concentrate is completely different.Flavor: True to the Scorpion, slight bite but not the bitterness of a ghost pepper. Very slight hint of sweetness immediately before the heat is felt. If you love Tabasco but always find yourself puttingWhat's it good on? I added 1T to 3 cups of curry/rice and it was delicious and did not overpower the curry flavor but still not being a fan of the scorpion peppers due to their slight bitterness, I will keep this as a pairing for white cream sauces.. White chowders make a nice compliment as well as breakfast foods including hash browns, eggs, country/chicken fried steak, etc. For asian food, my favorite is still FOO FOO MAMA CHOO (less

Good sauce if you rank yourself as "middle range" in tolerating spicy hot foods
This sauce was featured on First We Feast, known as High River Rogue. This has a hot but slightly orange-sweet taste, and is about as hot as a jalapeno, or maybe a bit hotter. I'm not sure on the Scoville scale where it ranks - I'm just comparing it to about the same as the cheesy jalapeno bread available in Walmart and many grocery stores - Hot, but not quite to a ridiculous point though. I like hot foods, but not the ones that burn without flavor, and this sauce has flavor. I'll be honest though, after using it for a few meals, I did mix this with a bit of ketchup to dilute the heat and add a bit more sweet. The one downside I noticed was several hours later - it burn's one's back side! (Compared to other hot sauces like Pain is Good 100% batch 218 which doesn't bother the back side)

Excellent flavor for any food
At just 50,000 scovill units, I really can’t see the evidence of Scorpion peppers in the sauce. If you like intense heat, this is too weak. I bought this to put a little heat on hamburgers, eggs, and other foods that I didn’t want my normal heat on. This is truly a great tasting hot sauce. Add some to boring rice and bland frozen fries and you’ll have a tasty treat. Mixing it with scrambled eggs gives it a bit of heat and great flavor. Although I didn’t really get a blood orange taste out of it, it never the less is great tasting. It’s flavor goes with any food from meatloaf to fish, and it enhances the flavor, doesn’t change it like other condiments.

Excellent sauce!
This is one of, if not my favorite, hot sauce. I’ve gone through two bottles and will be ordering a third one soon! I love heat, but I love flavor with the heat. I don’t see the enjoyment in using a sauce that’s just going to add heat without flavor. This one does both. The taste is sweet and accentuates the food you put it on - bbq, spaghetti, pizza, etc. It also adds a nice kick but won’t set your mouth on fire.If pain is the name of your hot sauce game, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for something that tastes great and adds a respectable sting, check it out!

Pretty good
I was skeptical about this at first I heard lots of reviews claiming it was sweet and well they're right but it's certainly delicious. It's spicy but not spicy enough for me, I'd say its heat level is comparable to that of a serrano pepper and it's tangy but with a more sweeter note. It was good but I don't see myself getting it again because I don't have a sweet tooth and I feel that the sweetness doesn't go well with certain dishes of food, it's great on pizza but I don't see myself adding it to soup.

Delicious
This sauce pushes the upper limits of my tolerance for spoonfuls of plain hot sauce. It has a unique flavor that doesn't work with everything, but when it fits, it adds something special. I like to drizzle it over a pepperoni pizza. Caution: I was raised on spicy food and have a high tolerance. This is very hot sauce for most people. It's a little less intense than Dave's Insanity Sauce, and without the gross extract flavor.
