Andean Dream Quinoa Pasta, Og, Macar, Gf, 8-Ounce (Pack of 6)

When I finally figured out that my terrible years of stomach issues were caused by a gluten allergy I assumed I was saying goodbye to good tasting pasta forever. I tried several gluten free brands and they were usually fine, but not what I would call tasty. I had decided that if I was going to eat it, I would just always have to make a hearty enough sauce to mask the slightly off taste of the pasta. A few months ago my mom told me about this brand and gave me a box to try, I can't rave enough. It tastes like pasta. It has the texture of pasta. I don't have to hide it anymore. I think removing the corn that is in so many GF pastas is the key! A tip I would offer: DON'T OVERCOOK. I usually set the timer for a minute or two under and start checking. If it goes over it is pretty mushy.

Hands down my favorite gluten free pasta on the market. It never gets gummy and has a great texture.

The problem with gluten-free pasta is it taste good to people as they’re loaded with corn which is not very good for you and if you’re watching inflammation can cause more. Corn pasta can also have a funky taste/harder texture. If you need gluten-free and you want pasta that actually taste like real pasta this is it. My family is half Italian and we’ve been using these for 10 years by the darn stores do not carry it. I do not know why only Whole Foods Amazon does. It doesn’t have the best appetizing packaging but don’t let that fool you. Some people insist that other brands like jovial are the best they are missing out. This is definitely the number one gluten-free pasta Way over Schar or Jovial and as far healthier.

I've tried all the brown rice pasta, gluten free, etc. Andean dream quinoa pasta is hands down the best one!! Any one of them is great... I've tried all the varieties. First... When boiling in water you don't need any oil to add to the water... There is no film on the pasta whatsoever (like you get with the brown rice pasta)... No need to rinse it, the consistency is perfect and the taste is delicious. I know my pasta... been eating pasta my entire life! I know this brand is a little "pricier" than others but after trying the healthier versions of what's out there for pasta - this brand is well worth the cost in my opinion. I'd rather eat healthy AND enjoy the taste of the food.

These were the best gluten-free pastas I have ever tried, but they changed the recipe! What a disappointment! The taste was so good, and the texture was perfect after cooking, but now they have become too soft with the new recipe. Please bring back the previous recipe, even if you do a premium to make a distinction with this one.

My son Loves this product, he has celiac desease, and since he is a very picky eater, finding a pasta that please him was a total challenge ... this pasta taste just or better than the regular pasta, cooks perfect and not mushy at all !!!! Love it !!!

It's delicious, and it doesn't get mushy. Love this pasta for a nice treat. It is expensive for a small amount of pasta, but worth the price. I haven't done it yet, but I'm sure you can use this for a baked oven dish and it should hold up well in the oven.

I have order this pasta multiple times and orzo comes instead of macaroni. (Macaroni is what I ordered and what was pictured.) I love this pasta, but it’s a hassle to have to correct this.
