Jen Wilkin is wonderful! This is an awesome Bible study and you will see Genesis in a way that you have never seen it before. It’s almost a line by line Bible study if you get the videos. I highly recommend that you get the videos or you will lose a lot of how wonderful this Bible Study is. She is an amazing teacher of the word with so much knowledge and such a heart for God. I can’t recommend this enough.

My Bible group and I love these books. We are on the second book right now and have a wonderful time learning about the Bible and getting into depths and really understanding what the Bible means.

This is a great book for Genesis bible study and no marks in it. I can follow along easily.

I co-led a women’s Bible study and we used both of Jen Wilkin’s books to study Genesis. Wilkin’s studies are so well done and are excellent for facilitating group study. My co-leader and I chose these studies because we needed more assistance as leaders on how to facilitate discussion and lead the group. These studies really helped with that, and helped everyone in the group come prepared with notes and takeaways to share. We noticed a difference in people’s participation and engagement because of how these books were structured. Grateful for this resource!

This study helps women (though men would benefit from this study as well) go through the Genesis in depth. It is not bible study self-help, which I feel so many bible studies can be (which isn't necessarily bad but you know what I mean). She does lead you to self-reflection and conviction, but it is through learning the book of Genesis, the story of Gods covenant promise to Abraham. She tackles hard passages, like genealogies, incest, and all that fun stuff you like to skip over, but going there is so worth it. Instead of confusion over these passages, her insights and references to other scripture help bring clarity to those difficult passages. It makes the text much more comprehensible and fills you with aw and wonder at Gods word.

Jen Wilkin is an amazing bible study teacher. Her attention to details and little know facts, her insight and humor and especially her profound love of God’s word make her studies challenging, uplifting and fun. I highly recommend this and others of Jen’s to anyone who wants to do a deep dive into scripture. I’ve done four of her studies and look forward to the next. They are listed as women’s studies but are appropriate for any audience.
