This product suds up soo goodd !!
The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this shampoo. I believe it was specifically created to clean makeup brushes because this stuff WORKS!! I do recommend paring with some micellar water by soaking your brushes in that first for about an hour or a whole day. Pull each brush out of the cup of micellar water and place just a drop of this shampoo on it and clean it very well. This bottle was full when I received it and had a tamper cover on it which is very important. The smell is pleasant and the performance is outstanding. I wish I had a before and after for these brushes but let’s just say this shampoo did what needed to be done 😊!!

Excellent product!
I use quite a few Elf products and find almost all of the to be just as good or better than comparable high end products. This brush cleaner is a perfect example. It is a product that is well worth the money and it does a fantastic job cleaning my makeup brushes. They turn out nice and soft without any noticable scent or residue just the way I like them.

It works fine IF use use it correctly...
For the folks who have been leaving 1-star reviews, I think I know what the problem is...because I almost did the same—do NOT USE WITH WATER. I was trying to use it WITH water and I was so disgusted with the results that I was just about to leave a scathing review when I decided to try without the water...and that was the problem all along. Clean without water and use warm water to rinse. If use try to use water WITH the shampoo, it gets too diluted and is, well, useless. I’ve just ordered it for the second time because it works very well with 7 out of 8 of my make up brushes. I took a point off because it never quite gets all the foundation out of my flat brush foundation applicator...and it gets so saturated I’m not sure anything would do any better without soaking, anyway. A little annoying, but—dude...it’s cheap. If I have to go the extra mile for just one of out of all my ridiculous number of vanity tools, I can deal.

I got this when I got my new makeup brush cleaner. This shampoo cleans my brushes great and makes them feel super soft! Cheap and great makeup brush shampoo that works great. Would definitely recommend!!!

Excellent brush shampoo
I purchased this for my niece to go with a set of starter make up brushes. She got quite a bit of very, very vivid and thick eyeshadows and foundations that I expected would stain the bristles of her brush. I was really pleased with how well the shampoo removed the residue and the stains from the bristles. It smells pleasant without being overwhelming or artificially floral and the texture of the formula is excellent for working the soap into the brushes. I'm pleased at how little it takes to thoroughly clean the bristles.

Disappointed
It’s a soap, yes, it cleans yeah, but I previously used the beauty blender bar soap for sponges and it takes little half the effort to get all the make up out vs this one it took many washes and rinses plus, once it dried and I used the sponge I could tell it still had some old product.

Amazing!
I have bought elf brush shampoo before and at first I thought it wasn’t doing a good job. I still had make up in my sponge and in my brush. I thought, “okay, for $5 this is not good but it’s okay”. Little did I know that I just wasn’t using the right amount! I was using a little bit and I realized that it wasn’t going to cut it. Then I used a little bit more, and much to my surprise, IT WORKED! Every bit of make up was removed from my brush and my sponge. I was shocked! For $5, you get your money’s worth and more! I highly recommend elf brush shampoo!!!

My daughters would always use this to clean their make up brushes. They usually dont wear to much make up in the summer time. But now that it is going to be winter soon and one of them is going to be starting dance and doing competitions it will be getting used again. so i will be ordering more!
