PS3 Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition Fight Stick

the box is solid... professional arcade quality. the foam bottom is great. the weight is great. the buttons are happs controls buttons... again, professional arcade quality (pretty much the only buttons used in real arcade machines).my kids also love playing with the controller when it's not even plugged in... this is great because the cord unplugs from the control and can be stored inside the LOCKING top.i can't say enough good things about this controller.

The buttons are positioned kind of weird and its hard to get used to it when the usual stick has the 3 or 2 buttons lined up then the other row underneath.The base and everything is very good quality.

Golden Findings was extremely professional and I received it very quick, as for the fight stick itself it truly speaks when you have it. I've been playing Mortal Kombat since I was a kid in the arcades back in the 90's and I bought this to go along with the Mortal Kombat arcade Kollection. This is truly as good as it's going to get without actually owning a true arcade cabinet!!!

I've owned and original MK1 arcade, and built a mk3 mame cabinet. This feels just like the real thing.. only it weighs 20lbs not 400lbs. Great quality and workmanship went into the production of this.

Decent stick but a few key differences from the Madcatz Street Fighter 4 TE stick. I'm comparing the two because these are the most common high-end sticks for MK.1 - circular gate for joystick vs. square gate for SF stick2 - much more resistance with the joystick for movements than SF stick3 - button layout is only good for MK and SF stick is good for MK and every other fighting game4 - cabinet is raised up quite a bit and the top panel is set at a backwards angle whereas the SF stick is very thin in comparison and the top panel lies flat5 - MK unit is much heavier than SF unit6 - button faces are depressed vs. raised with SF stick7 - bottom of unit has soft foam vs metal for SF stickOverall I prefer the SF stick and sold this stick. Really though this is largely personal preference and this stick is exactly like the MK arcade cabinet controls. It's very high quality and you will be very happy with this as long as you know what you are getting.
