Three Sisters coffee is a great way to start a new day. I use a French press to make my coffee and I drink it black with no sugar or other additives. While Three Sisters blend is advertised as having “notes of stone fruit, cocoa, and toasted coconut, [plus] offering a sweet and chocolatey experience,” all I taste is a very pleasant, non-acidic coffee with no bitter aftertaste. Is it the best coffee I’ve ever tasted? No. But it is the best coffee I’ve ever made myself, at home. — I was paying $1.66/ounce for fresh roasted coffee beans at local roasters, and while they yielded good coffee I prefer the flavor, smoothness, and lack of bitter aftertaste offered by the Three Sisters blend. So, for me, Kicking Horse Three Sisters coffee beans at $1.01 / ounce is a bargain.

I can't find many options for good quality coffee locally, so it was great to find this nice medium roast available in amazon. Tasty and good price.

This coffee is so fresh and rich in flavor. I feel like with a lot of organic coffees they lack flavor but this is so yummy. Buy it!

amazing coffee. smooth. not too acidic. I say between med and dark with a bit of light. hard to put in words. but the blend works for me and how i like my coffee. Pressed in the Aeropressed. Good stuff from Canada!!!.. and Canada is a country, a great and friend country. Good company i like the 3 sis.4 stars is high. 5 star is reserved for the most amazing coffee that i haven't tasted. but this coffee is kickhorse.

This is excellent coffee. And at the time of purchase a real bargain for 2.2 lbs

As someone who considers himself a horse manure connoisseur I was very pleased when I opened this bag of coffee, stuck my face into the bag, and inhaled deeply. The earthy, musty scent of horse manure is very forward and unmistakable. This was such an amazing surprise, I became almost giddy. I could not wait to grind and brew a cup in my Chemex coffee pot. And I have to say this coffee does not disappoint! It tastes exactly like it smells and exudes all of the flavor notes one expects when one ingests manure. The only downside I can find is that it does not have the flavor of a fresh manure but more that of a manure that has sat in a pile for several months to a year. But considering I have never had another coffee that tastes so much like manure I don't know that this can really be counted against it. Perhaps stale manure is the only manure flavor that can be imparted to coffee. Either way, I am a huge fan and this will be my go-to blend for life! If you are as much of a horse manure fan as I am then please do not hesitate and get yourself a bag of this wonderful coffee today.

I'm a coffee snob and can be picky. This coffee is by far the best coffee I've tried. Not only is the flavor wonderful, but even when you smell this coffee next to Starbucks or Peet's it smells so much better and more aromatic! I only buy the whole bean type because that makes the best coffee using my coffee maker that has a built-in grinder in it. There're a few flavors that Kicking Horse has and you should try various flavors until you find your favorite one because they're all quite different. My favorite flavors are Three Sisters, Kick Ass and Smart Ass. I keep buying them repeatedly and prefer Kicking Horse over Peet's Coffee and most of other coffee brands. Grizzly Claw flavor we find a little too bitter to our taste and WIld Horse is a little too strong. But the other three aforementioned flavors are just the best! I won't even look for another coffee company anymore!

I like it’s organic and Fairtrade. The taste is smooth, with a slight bitterness, which adds depth but might not be for everyone. The aroma is mild, and when brewed with my espresso machine, the crema isn’t as rich as I’d like. Overall, it’s a solid, ethically-sourced coffee, but it lacks a strong scent and rich crema.
