After reading some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant to purchase this item. Some reviews said it runs a little too big, and others said it ran a little too small. Talk about confusing. No matter what I wanted to make sure it would fit well. I ending up going with the measurements for the largest part of my body which for me is my chest and ended up ordering a small. It worked perfectly. I would suggest using the same method or those unsure of what size to order. The one thing that was right on the money was the length. It does seem a tad bit short, but it wasn't anything that I felt made me look scandalous or NSFW. I paired the look with some black leggings and it looked fabulous. Really happy with my outfit.

Love this uniform. It fit true to size, though for me at 5’5” and 120 lbs, it is very short. I wore it with black short tennis briefs which didn’t show through fabric.

FIT: Weird. Make sure you read the sizing chart before purchasing. I'm usually between a 6-10, and in this dress that is a Size: Small. That being said, it fits alright. I wish it was more snug throughout the whole dress - especially the waist! I wore the proper undergarments to make sure that my waist would be highlighted most. Unfortunately, it does this thing where its a bit more snug on the arms and bottom areas and then the mid section is sort of loose. I don't know if an XS would give me what I want though. Maybe it's made for someone with a very straight figure? If so, I feel a bit misled since this dress seems to be the alternative for curvier figures or at least a curve-inducing dress...QUALITY: The material has a standard "costume-y" feel. It's not very thick, but it also isn't as thin as I thought it'd be. It wasn't falling apart either.LENGTH: I'm almost 5'4 (5'3 3/4 if you want to be technical). This dress did not look the same on me as it did on the model (Of course!). Still, to me it was kind of short - even more so if I raised my arms or sat down - but it was nothing crazy. I've worn short things before and this didn't scare me. It was actually almost a perfect length when I was standing. I imagine anyone a lot taller or shorter than me might take issue with it.OVERALL CONSENSUS: Would I purchase this again? If I had more time I think I would just try to make this myself - especially since I know what kind of fit I want and it's not that hard. This dress was purchased sort of last-minute, though... Loose fit, shoddy workmanship, cheap thin polyester, braids on sleeves already frayed when delivered. Also, it’s definitely an unlicensed knockoff.

I got this for my girlfriend (ladies, we love you Sci-Fi girls) and it's a very nice fit. I'm sure you can imagine, unless you order a custom fitted uniform or 1-2 sizes smaller, it will not fit you like it does the girl in the picture. That being said, it is a very comfortable costume that still looks sexy. It's not as form-fitting in the middle as the top or bottom, but I mean it's not baggy either. The length for a woman 5' 7" comes about 5-6" above her knees. Now, if this was for .....ahem, open private hailing frequencies, I'd have gotten her a size smaller. But I wanted her to have something sexy, but that she could also wear to parties/conventions and it still have some modesty! She does say it is really comfortable to wear and she loves it.I this helps and if you get one, enjoy and however you use it....Make it so!

It's a bit large even though we ordered the X-Small. If you're a size 6-8, it will be a bit baggy. Quality is good. Bit long. Not very sexy.

The costume fits well, my only concern was the sleeves on my arms because they could not stretch enough as they were stitched. But overall good costume.

I ordered a medium because my dress size is a 6 - 8 and I am busty. It was HUGE all over and came down to my knee. It did not have any curves, it was just straight on the sides. It looked like an old ladies house dress. It was even big across my bust.Also, it was very poorly made. Around the neck line the material was puckered/gathered in spots which made it stick up in areas. There were many loose threads about 4 - 5 inches hanging in different areas especially around the neck line. The gold emblem and trim on the sleeves is painted on. It is not shiny like it appears in the picture. I returned it.

Kostüm mit schlampigen Nähten, Rand des Ausschnitts ist ungleich und mit Ausbeulungen genäht. Ging deshalb zurück. Leider vom Verkäufer auch nach 5 Tagen keine Erstattung erhalten.Benachrichtigung über Erstattung kam endlich nach 11 Tagen .

I read the reviews on size and am happy that I listened and got a small, it’s honestly perfect (for a Halloween costume). It fits great, comfy material. I’m a chesty 5’4” who usually buys a large or medium.

Ein schönes Kostüm war das, als es noch Karneval gab. Als es noch Fasching gab. Lieutenant Uhura war ihrer Zeit voraus. Sie war eine Frau, sie war schwarz, sie war großartig. Sie verkörperte echte Weiblichkeit gepaart mit echter Fachkompetenz. Sie war nicht cool oder eine "starke Frau" wie man sie heute zeichnet. Nein, so ein Gebaren hatte Lieutenant Uhura gar nicht nötig. Insofern trug ich das Kostüm echt gerne, bis zum Jahr 2019 einschließlich. Ich würde es auch wieder tragen, wenn es wieder Fasching gäbe.

El precio me pareció muy bueno, la calidad de los materiales tambien es buena y se asemeja mucho a los trajes de la serie.

This Star Trek dress in Uhura style is very great and we like it very much! The size S is fitting quite good and it is not too large or somehow. It fits great. We plan to use it for our videos on Youtube and after a little photo shooting we could see that it may complete our videos. :-) So we can recommend this fancy dress for sure. :-)
